Wanted to try my hand at comparing Book Rocky vs Movie Rocky. At first I was much more partial to movie Rocky (having seen it first), but now that I've read the book I think I'm fonder of his design and character in the book more! I thought it would be fun to combine my favorite attributes from both into one design.

Also, Grace is safe! The asbestos becomes a problem if it starts breaking into little fibers that he could breath in. Since eridans use it as clothing, they probably do it in a way that it doesn't break down so easily (tho it would over time). But Grace didn't have it long enough for that to be a problem, but they want to get rid of it to make sure

Aaaand now it’s time for Punk’s introduction! :-D

Punk is Daft’s larger, much less impatient and annoyed sibling. They’re also Adrian’s (who I headcanon as the biodome project’s lead architect) apprentice!

They’re very chill, slower moving due to their size (much like Adrian) and endlessly creative. They’ve been spending all of their time endlessly researching Earth design in an attempt to replicate it within the dome.

Well, thanks for thinking Id know this! I tend to get a bit anal about finding out everything about something i like haha anyway I tried to figure this out a few months back and what I found out was pretty interesting. First of all, you can see the prisoners from cosmic collisions with very similar wrist and ankle tattoos:

From what I understand, if someone committed a harmless crime like theft or burgulary they would be tattooed in something called irezumi kei, which meant tattoo penalty. Tattooing a petty criminal was a much less brutal solution to cutting off the thief’s whole arm or hand, which was the norm before irezumi kei. Face tattoos were also common, usually using the kanji for “bad” or “dog” and coupled with a caning and expulsion from the area.

“A person caught stealing for a second time, for example, would usually be tattooed with two lines across the forearm to mark them as a recidivist. A third offence would sometimes result in a third stripe. More often it meant death.”

Since we can assume that Mugens wrist tattoos are from stupid things like stealing, I think that his thick ankle tattoos are probably from going to prison for the sugar ship. You cant see Mugen’s wrists or ankles in any of the flashbacks, so my headcanon is that after he jumped off the cliff and escaped he probably fucked around for a few years and got caught stealing a few times before meeting Fuu and Jin.

The Widowed Lady Catelyn

(This is one where turning up the brightness makes a big difference)

Now running around after the young King of the North the Dowager Queen. There's more grey in her hair, more weariness after the death.

Dark blues and blue-grey colors, more layers/feels the cold more keenly. North-style Mantle & silver brooch. Her clothing style is much more Northern now (she is a representative of the King of the North now) with only little Southern/Tully flairs. (Hopefully Lysa's outfit similarities are noticeable)
