have you ever gone into a movie blind thinking that it's gonna be a fun watch and then in the middle of it something devastatingly horrible happens to the mc and it never gets better? but you gotta move on bc she has to and yet it's not really possible to move on bc of what happened so you feel sad and angry and all those bad feelings and you think "why can't her friends at least be better friends" but that's the trick I guess bc what happened to her probably has happened to a many lot girls in real life before and sadly will keep happening and a lot of those girls probably also have this one friend that's just a little too self obsessed and jealous of anything any of her friends do and then the movie finishes and the credits roll and you didn't cry but you feel like you should've and you think about how something similar has happened to you and that it probably has happened to some of your friends or friends of your friends but you don't know for sure bc you can't even tell your own friends what happened to you bc just like the mc it's too heavy a burden to put on someone else and it's too big a secret to keep for yourself but also too hard to let go off for the fear that everyone who knows will see you as broken or worse.
