between the sleepless nights of having a newborn and leon’s occasional missions, you hadn’t been able to be intimate with your husband in too long. because of that, you had grown to hate your new body and you were convinced leon would be disgusted by it too. so, you hid behind the guise of being a new mom to avoid the inevitable. that is, until sherry had offered to watch your daughter. “so you can relax for a little while.” was her excuse. 

you jumped at the opportunity to spend time with your husband, relaxing. you knew your daughter was in the best possible hands. what had started out as a simple movie and takeout night quickly turned to leon’s lips attached to your neck as his hands roamed your body.

now, you were on your bed as leon kissed along your jaw and neck as if he was a man starved. your clothes lined the hallway, leaving you bare to his intense gaze. you shifted, attempting to covering your stomach which held many stretch marks, you did carry a child for nine months after all.

“god, i’ve missed this.” leon began to kiss lower, sucking between the valley of your breasts. his mouth grew closer to your stomach as his fingers found your clit. you moaned at the touch, between the chaos of the new stage of your life you had forgotten how much you missed being intimate with your husband. “you’re so gorgeous.”

“all your’s leon, all your’s.” you whined as he began to move slowly. he knew you still felt pain, the doctor said that’d be normal. so, leon took his time with you, whispering his love to you as you teetered on the edge of coming undone. 

“come on, sweetheart, come with me.” leon whispered soft praises as you came undone together. he rested his forehead against yours as you both heaved in heavy breaths.

falling in love with leon was easy. after years of only having each other, it was only a matter of time before one of you would fall for the other. you had grown up with leon in the orphanage and without a family of your own, leon had become a stability in your life.

now, you were older and very much in love with your best friend. the only issue? he seemed to show no interest in you romantically. for years you had watched leon pursue woman after woman, hoping that one day he’d ask you out. but after 3 long years of loneliness and heartbreak, you decided it was finally time to move on. 

peter was your saving grace. he was your coworker and had been quietly harboring a crush on you. when he finally gathered the courage to ask you out, you agreed. there was no reason for you to wait for someone who would never be interested in you when there was someone who looked at you like you hung the moon and stars.

you and peter dated for about a month before you both realized you were better off as friends. that didn’t mean you grew apart, in fact, you were closer as friends than as lovers.

peter was there for you through it all. from the shitty dates he convinced you to go on, to making sure you were always okay. he was your best friend, alongside leon of course.

leon had noticed how you began to pull away from him, instead attaching yourself to peter. in fact, anytime you’d mention peter’s name, a pit would form in leon’s stomach and a bad taste was left in his mouth. claire would say he was jealous but he insisted that there was something wrong with peter. he’d even tried to tell you that one time which resulted in you not speaking to him for a week. from then on, leon kept his distaste for peter to himself.

now, he was stuck in your cramped apartment as you celebrated your birthday, surrounded by some of your close friends. he had arrived first, taking the opportunity to give you his gift. it was a photo album filled with pictures, mostly of you and him as you grew up. it was huge, filled with plenty of empty pages for you to fill. leon hugged you, wiping away a stray tear as you blushed, which of course, he didn’t seem to notice. no matter how much you wished to stop loving leon, it simply was not that easy.

shortly after leon had given you his gift, peter arrived, followed by claire and chris. he left you, going to talk to the redfield siblings as he white knuckled his beer bottle. a couple of your friends from college came, leaving leon to feel like he was suffocating in your tiny ass apartment. 

leon barely listened to claire as she spoke, instead his eyes were trained on you and peter. his eyes narrowed as peter’s arm snaked around your shoulders, your head coming to rest against his shoulder. “jesus, leon, you’re gonna break the bottle.” claire tugged at the neck of the bottle, pulling his attention to her. leon loosened his grip on the bottle, an almost permanent frown on his face. “you should tell her how you feel.” 

leon gave claire a confused look, a nervous laugh escaping from his lips. “i don’t know what you mean.”

“you truly are a lost cause. tell the girl you love her.” claire’s voice was lowered enough for leon and chris to hear. 

“she’s right, kennedy.” chris murmured his agreement with his sister’s statement.

“what are you two talking about? she’s like my sister.” leon spoke confidently but couldn’t quite meet his friends eyes.

“yeah, because that’s how you look at someone you consider your sister. quit being a pussy.” leon shook his head, his eyes going back to staring at you and peter. 

“do you remember when you came over to help me bake and you nearly set my kitchen on fire?” you laughed as peter groaned.

“hey, look, baking is not as easy as it seems. and if i remember correctly, you forgot to set the timer!” 

“me? that was your job, dumbass!” you two began to bicker, laughter spilling out. god, he hated peter. how could you be so comfortable with him? letting him run his fingers along your arm like it was normal. or how you laughed at his stupid jokes. he wasn’t even funny!

“i’m not being a pussy, there’s nothing between us.” leon stated simply, but the redfield siblings could tell he was lying through his teeth.

“okay, then, why are you staring at peter like he’s the devil reincarnated?” claire didn’t let him speak, instead giving him a glare. “don’t even start. he’s been nothing but good to her, unlike someone i know.”

leon was shocked at claire’s jab. “what’s that supposed to mean?”

“i don’t know, maybe how you throw yourself from relationship to relationship all while dismissing the one person who’s been there for you this whole time.” chris was watching the exchange like a tennis match, clearly entertained by this.

leon struggled to find the words, instead narrowing his eyes at claire. “you know i’m right.” he muttered a soft shut up before setting down his beer. he needed fresh air.

from your spot on the couch, you watched as leon exited the apartment without a word. a frown creased your lips as you got up to follow, confused on why he’d leave without saying goodbye. 

peter shot you a questioning look, “i’ll be back.” you slipped out of the apartment, racing to catch up with leon before he was gone. you ran down the stairs, cursing the gods for giving that man such long legs. “leon, wait!” you finally caught up to him as he exited the building's doors. he turned when you called out to him, confused on why you were chasing him. “why are you leaving?”

“i just needed some fresh air. go enjoy your party, i’ll be up in a minute.” you didn’t quite believe him, instead you stood there, arms crossed over your chest.

“did i do something?” leon hated seeing you upset, but he hated seeing you with peter even more.

“i just…” he trailed off as you looked at him expectantly.

“you just what?” leon couldn’t think of the right words. what was he supposed to say? hey i think your friend peter might be a dick, because that went well last time.

“i need space.” your heart stopped for a moment at his words. in the 20 plus years you’d known him, you never thought he would leave you. not when he knew just how much you’d lost. you two were so close and now he needs space?

“what are you saying?” your lip quivered as you did your best to hold back your tears.

“i think we just need some time apart is all.” you’d been though your fair share of break ups, none of them hurt as bad as leon telling you that he needed a break from your friendship. you didn’t let him continue as you turned on your heel, pushing your way into the building and past peter who had managed to hear the last part.

the two men watched as you walked up the stairwell and out of their line of sight. leon said nothing as he began to walk to his motorcycle. “you really are oblivious, you know that?” peter’s words made leon stop in his tracks. who was this dickwad to tell him what he is?

“she’s in love with you.” leon turned to face peter, his face void of emotion. “and you continue to dismiss her. do you know how many times she’s sat in my apartment, bawling her eyes out because you can’t seem to see her and her feelings.” peter’s voice was rough as he stepped toward leon.

“why do you care?” leon asked, his eyes narrowed at the man.

“because, man, i love her. and i’ve put my feelings for her aside because i want her to be happy. i let her walk away from our relationship because she couldn’t stop loving you.” peter admitted, stopping a few feet from leon. “and you keep breaking her heart.”

leon stood there for a moment, taking in peter’s words. “fuck.” he muttered under his breath. peter backed away, having said his piece, he left to rejoin the party. leon clambered on to his motorcycle, his thoughts racing.

peter helped you clean up your apartment after everyone had left. you had spent the rest of your birthday party holding back tears as you attempted to celebrate. “how are you feeling?”

“like i want to be left alone.” you practically whispered. peter nodded, grabbing some trash bags to bring down to the dumpster. he set them by the door before pulling you into a hug and whispering a happy birthday to you.

“call me if you need me.” you shut the door behind him, locking the deadbolt, the latch, and the knob (something leon insisted you did, ever since he was a rookie.)

you went to your room, changing out of your clothes and into some pajamas. you planned on spending the rest of your evening crying to sad movies as you ate ice cream. 

you had just settled onto your couch, blanket in one hand and ice cream in the other, when a knock sounded at your door. you didn’t bother getting up, hoping instead the person would think you weren’t home and leave.

after a moment of silence, the person began to knock again. you sighed, getting up to open the door. you unlocked and unlatched the door, opening it to find leon on the other side. “what do you want, leon?”

“you.” he surged forward, hands coming to rest on either side of your face as he kissed you. you stumbled back slightly from the force. he pulled back, searching your eyes. once the shock had worn off, you grabbed a fistful of his shirt, bring him to meet you in a messy kiss. “i’m so sorry.” he whispered against your lips, backing you up further into the apartment so he could shut the door. he pulled back so you both could catch air. “i’m sorry.”

leon doesn't exactly remember agreeing to you signing him up for chaperoning your daughter’s field trip to the zoo. 

it was after a long mission and you just happened to slip it in with your ramblings on what he had missed.

“lizzy has been practicing writing, oh! which reminds me, would you chaperone her field trip coming up? i was going to but i have this big meeting, plus i think she’d love to have you there.” leon hummed an acknowledgment, his eyes closed as he teetered toward the edge of sleep. 

“sure, sweetheart.”

now he was at the local zoo surrounded by twenty-five first graders, who were fascinated by him.

“mister kennedy, why are you so tall?” “mister kennedy, my shoes untied.” “mister kennedy, why are you so old?” that last one stung a bit.

to say he was overstimulated was an understatement, but seeing the joy on his daughter’s face when she found out he would be coming with them made it all worth it.

leon would spend the day walking with lizzy and some of her friends, each one taking turns to sit on his shoulders so they could get a better view of the zebras.

as lunch came around, he’d open the lunch you had packed for both him and lizzy, smiling at the note you left for him.

he’d listen to the random conversations lizzy would have with her friends, feeling like he was losing brain cells every time a 67 joke was made.

he helped lizzy’s teacher with wrangling the kids together. one stern look and a tough voice got all of those kids in line.

he even paid for ice cream for all the kids, which led to many sticky hands and messy clothes.

when it was finally time to leave, leon helped load the kids onto the bus, taking a seat next your daughter. she rambled for about three minutes before her head crashed against leon’s arm, her mouth open as she slept against him.

when you arrived home you were greeted by an excited lizzy who simply could not wait to tell you everything. your husband on the other hand, he was fast asleep on the couch, his mouth open as soft snores escaped. like father like daughter.

thankfully lizzy was worn out from all the excitement which made bedtime much easier.

“thanks for going with her. i can tell she had a great time.”

“i did too. well, minus all the six-seven jokes. by the way, i think we need to limit her screentime.” leon chuckled as he settled into bed. “oh, and sweetheart?”

“yeah?” you asked, turning to see your husband with a mischievous look on his face.

“i signed you up for the bake sale.” you should’ve known he’d get his revenge. “and lizzy is supposed to help you bake.”

for the first time, probably ever, jeff winger was speechless. 

after pierce’s funeral, the greendale seven were gathered in the study room as they were interrogated by an associate of pierce as mr. stone had introduced himself. the room had filled quickly with arguments, the friend group turning against each other. 

“guys, stop!” jeff shouted over all the yelling. “we have to stop letting pierce do this to us!” the group quieted, listening to jeff as he gave one of his famous speeches. you were sat beside him, eyebrows raised in curiosity. one of your favorite things about jeff winger was that even though he was an egotistical asshole, he did have quite the way with words.

“mr. hawthorne hasn't asked a question in quite some time, mr. winger.” mr. stone stated. it dawned on the group that it would be just like pierce to turn the group against each other even post mortem. 

“he’s right. i actually forgot for a second that pierce was dead.” jeff said, looking around at his friends. 

“maybe that's what he wanted.” you shrugged.

“or maybe he wanted us to know we're no better off without him.” annie suggested, her voice heavy with what seemed like regret.

“or no better than him.” shirley added solemnly.

“hmm. he kind of nailed it, didn't he?” the group looked to the canister that supposedly held pierce. 

hurried footsteps came into the room, stopping toward the entrance. the group looked to see chang storming back in, “i didn't just masturbate in the study room. i masturbated everywhere. everywhere!” chang shouted, his arms raised up.

“ew.” you muttered, eyes widened in disgust.

“confession is good for the soul. you should try it sometime.” chang shoved his hands in his pocket before leaving once more. silence filled the room as the group shared looks with each other.

“there's another round of questions, if you'd like to continue.” mr. stone said, his voice still monotone.

“you want to give us a moment to sit in our own filth before you heap another bucket on us?” jeff asked sarcastically.

“it's strange after all these years how much we've kept hidden from each other. you'd think by now we would have learned to be better people.” annie said. you nodded along, feeling slightly down at the fact that you were still letting pierce get to you and the group, even from the grave.

“i think we got into this mess by thinking there was such a thing as better people.” jeff paused for a moment, his eyes widening in realization. 

“wait. that's it. if we're no better than pierce, and pierce is no worse than us, then that means… nobody's really that bad. so what if we're willing to suffer and inflict pain at the mere prospect of material reward? if we stop now, that doesn't make us better. it just makes us so dishonest that we would rather be poor than admit we're flawed. pierce admitted he was flawed, and he died rich. let's celebrate his life and death in the honest way, not by saying fake nice things around a casket, but by admitting we're monsters and clawing joyfully for some of his cash. so does anybody have anything left before we continue?” jeff looked around at the group.

“let's empty our tanks of lies once and for all. i'm jeff winger, and if i had my choice, i would rather look at myself naked than the women i sleep with.”

“i'm the one who hit jeff's lexus in the parking lot. it wasn't a taco truck, and it was racist of me to improvise such an ethnically specific vehicle.” annie spoke next, she looked as if a weight had been lifted off of her shoulders.

“i only give money to homeless people when i'm walking with someone.” britta admitted, a frown creasing her lips. 

“i've never been to legoland. i just wanted you guys to think i was cool.” troy blurted out.

“i can be passive-aggressive sometimes.” the group remained quiet like they had with the others. “don't everybody disagree at once. oh, lord, i did it again.” shirley bowed her head in shame.

abed went next, “when any of you chew gum, i want to punch you. ou may as well have submachine guns in your mouths. it vibrates my skull.” that you could agree with.

you knew it was now or never and no one else hesitated so why should you? “i only joined the study group because i wanted to fuck jeff.” the already quiet room went even more silent if that was even possible. the air shifted as you received some judgemental looks, “oh, so now you want to judge?”

“well… did you?” annie asked, her voice trailing off into a whisper. 

“nah, i figured his ego was bigger than his dick.” you shrugged, keeping your composure. the whole time you were avoiding jeff’s curious gaze. from beside you, britta hummed in agreement. jeff shot the blonde a look of betrayal. “moving on, hit us with your grand finale, mr. stone.” you drove the attention off of you.

after you were given your respective gift and sperm, the people cleaned up their equipment as the group began to file out. the group was too busy arguing over what bar they were going to hit that they missed jeff grabbing your wrist and pulling you back. he waited until the room had been cleared before turning you to face him. “my ego is bigger than my dick? that’s not what you were saying last night. why’d you lie?” jeff questioned with a smirked.

“who said i was lying?” you bite back, your eyebrows raised. “if i recall correctly, the machine didn’t read any deception.” jeff’s hand moved to the back of your head, moving it to meet his lips in a harsh kiss.

“you’re gonna regret that, sweetheart.” he muttered against your lips. “i’ll have you screaming the truth by the end of the night, you can count on that.” you looked up at him through your lashes, fire in your eyes. you knew you shouldn’t, but you loved to play with fire.

“whatever you say, winger.” you pulled away from his grip, something he could’ve easily stopped but didn’t. you ran to catch up with your friends, leaving jeff in the empty study room with a noticeable bulge in his pants.

the chair beneath you creaked as you shifted slightly, trying to align the sign properly. “detective kennedy, what are you doing?” you halted your efforts, turning to face your sergeant, who was looking up at you with an unamused look. after securing the sign to the wall, you hopped down from the chair, smoothing out the wrinkles in your shirt.

“sorry, sarge, i just thought a welcome sign would be nice.” you knew you may be going a bit over the top but you wanted to make your husband feel as welcomed as possible.

“you do realize he’s only here for today and tomorrow, right?” your sergeant questioned. you shrugged, simply smiling at him. “anyway, per your request, i have assigned you to patrol.” the sergeant handed you a stack of files. “could you look over these as well?”

“yes, sir.” you accepted the files he was handing you, walking them over to your desk as he walked away. you settled at your desk, setting the manilla folders to the side as you attempted to make the cluttered desk less chaotic. your husband lived a life of chaos, the last thing he needed was to come to work alongside you at your messy desk. 

as you finished straightening up, your phone buzzed beside you, leon’s contact photo popping up with a text. i’m outside, are you ready? you smiled, ready to give your husband the surprise you had promised him. you felt guilty at the fact that leon had never actually gotten to be a cop unlike you. he literally had a first day from hell and you wanted to give him the chance to experience being a cop, even if it was just for a day or two. 

you made your way outside, quickly spotting leon leaning against his porsche. “leon!” you called out, running over to give him a tight hug. you leaned back before gently pressing a kiss to his lips. “are you ready for your surprise?” you smiled widely, giddy with excitement. 

leon held your smaller hand in his as you led him toward the station. “you know you don't have to get me anything for my birthday, right?” while he never was one to really celebrate his birthday, he did secretly love the fact that you remembered and always tried to do something special for him.

you shushed him, glaring at him slightly for even trying to downplay his birthday. you stopped in front of the station doors, turning to fully face your husband. “okay, you know how you never got to have your first day as a cop or even be a cop?”

“huh, i wasn't aware.” leon replied sarcastically, his curled lips giving away his amusement. 

“okay, smartass. well, anyway, i convinced my sergeant to let you tag along with me on patrol for today and tomorrow!” you were practically jumping at your reveal of his birthday gift. your eyes searched his face, looking for any sign of disappointment or anger. “thoughts?”

“i think i’m in love with you.” 

your mouth widened into a smile that made your cheeks hurt. “i would hope so, you married me.” you spoke affectionately. “so you want to do it?” even in your excitement, the possibility of rejection that you feared shone through.

“sweetheart, of course i do. a chance to be a cop and see my wife in action, that's something i’d never turn down.” you giggled as leon pulled you to him. “i hope it doesn't turn me on.” leon’s tease was low enough for only you to hear. you pulled back with a gasp, smacking his solid chest.

“leon! watch it.” you warned, your lips twitching as you held back a smile. you grabbed his hand walking into the building. you helped him sign in with the front desk before bringing him to the bullpen. above the entrance hung the sign welcome leon! which caused leon to stop in his tracks. you were pulled to a stop with him, your hand still in his. “are you okay?”

“yeah, yeah. where to first?” he shook off his feeling of slight uneasiness, following you to what looked like a hightech classroom. you sat down toward the front as the other officers flooded into the room. your sergeant came to the front, waiting for everyone to quiet down before roll call. you could hear the quiet whispers flowing through the room about the mysterious man sat beside you.

“alright, attention please!” your sergeant called out, the room dissolving into silence as the officers began to listen. “first of all, i’d like to welcome DSO agent leon kennedy who will be riding alongside his wife on patrol for both today and tomorrow.” a few whispers could be heard as leon gave a tight lipped smile. he was never one to enjoy the attention on him. you winked at him when he turned his attention to you, a cheeky smile on your face. “second of all, to whoever keeps taking my coffee mug, please note that there are cameras in the break room. please get your own mug.” 

you snickered behind your hand as leon looked at you with a raised eyebrow. your sergeant went through his notes before wrapping up the meeting. “be safe out there.” the room began to clear out as you led leon to the garage, accepting the keys from your sergeant as you passed.

“alright, rookie, let’s load up.” you grabbed a clipboard with the inventory list clamped on it. 

“rookie?” leon questioned, his lips twitching into a smile. you smirked, clicking your pen to check off the items.

“yeah, you’re my rookie. oh, also, you need to put this on.” you grabbed the uniform you had set aside, handing it to him.

“you’ve gotta be shitting me.” leon was shocked, but his tone of voice was light, almost like he was excited.

“get a move on it, boot!” you did your best to put on a stern voice, something you would normally be able to accomplish with ease. however, most times you were speaking to a suspect, not your husband. leon found the locker room, finding a spot to change into his uniform before making his way back to you. “damn.”

“you like it?” leon asked, watching the ways your eyes lit up at the sight of him in a police uniform.

“you look good, rookie.” you looked him up and down, admiring him in the sight of the uniform that matched your own.

“you treated all your rookies like this?” leon teased as you glared at him. you grabbed a bullet proof vest, shoving it into his hands as you dropped the smile that graced your face. you wanted to give him an authentic experience, which meant giving him a hard time.

“alright, moving on. grab that duffle bag.” you made leon do most of the hard work, loading up your patrol car with all the necessities. while he loaded the vehicle, you took the time to admire his appearance. you knew him well, well enough to know that the nonchalant look he held didn't mean he wasn’t enjoying this. he’d probably never admit it, but you knew that this meant a lot to him. you were giving him an opportunity he never thought he’d get.

“this uniform makes me want a donut.” leon muttered as you pulled out of the garage. you looked at him with your best unamused look, stopping yourself from letting the laughter escape.

“enough with the jokes, boot.” 

you drove leon around your designated patrol area, walking him through procedures. you were amazed at how much he remembered. he knew exactly what to do during a traffic stop (although, his numerous speeding tickets probably jogged his memories), as well as how to handle each call you were given. he’d even helped a young mother change her tire at the gas station he’d convinced you to stop at (he insisted on getting the donuts because it “completed the experience”).

before your shift was over, leon had gotten to experience giving a traffic ticket, as well as, trespassing a guy at a local walmart. he even got to experience placing someone under arrest when the guy attempted to throw a punch at him.

you arrived back at the station, guiding leon through the booking process before making him help you with the paperwork. he had to get the full experience after all. you filed your paperwork before thanking your sergeant once more for letting leon tag along with you. 

“thank you for this.” leon smiled, squeezing your hand that was engulfed by his large hand.

the numbness was something you had grown accustomed to. it made it easier for you to keep going back to the horrors of your job. soon or later though, the cup would overflow.

you had just returned home from your third case in the last two weeks, which just like the other two, did not end well.

the first case, you didn’t make it to the victim in time. the second case ended with an officer wounded and still clinging onto life. and your most recent case ended with the suspect taking both his life and the victim’s.

entering your apartment, you wished for nothing more than to crawl into bed. leon was away, something about a classified mission. 

you forced yourself to take a shower, hoping that the water might wash away the guilt that had been riddling your mind. you knew you couldn’t save them all, that was a hard pill to swallow but you managed up until now. 

you curled into a ball on your bed, a nightmare filled sleep coming to you. memories of the last two weeks filled your dreams like a poisonous gas. it seemed every time you closed your eyes, you were thrown back to the moment when the suspect fired his weapon.

eventually you gave up on sleep. and it stayed that way for weeks. you would catch a cat nap here and there only to ultimately wake up from a nightmare. 

leon noticed your change in behavior first. he always noticed first. he saw the way dark circles had begun to form under your eyes. how you’d be up before him every morning, the pot of coffee you had brewed was already almost empty, like you had left just enough for his morning cup. he knew you weren’t sleeping, how he would wake up to your tossing and turning. he knew what was happening because he had been in your shoes many times before.

the next to notice was spencer reid. ever the genius, he had noted the way your t-shirts had changed to long sleeve shirts and how your sleeves always remained down no matter the weather. he saw the way you’d snap a rubber band on your wrist when going over the case at the round table. 

hotch saw the reckless you. the agent who didn’t wait for backup if there was a chance the victim was there. how your hand hovered over your holstered weapon more frequently. or how you’d confront the suspect without a second thought. 

it was when you stepped in the line of fire that hotch scheduled the psych evaluation. he had heard from the others on the team of your reckless and borderline suicidal behavior. hell, even leon had reached out to him with concerns for your safety, considering your lack of sleep.

you argued with hotch about the eval. you started off angry, pissed that he would even suggest the idea of you being unwell. eventually your anger dissolved into bargaining, pleading with him to let you take a couple days off to get your head on straight. hotch didn’t budge, simply escorting you to the room where the evaluation was to take place.

it didn’t take long for the psychiatrist to come to the conclusion you had feared. you felt like your world was caving in as hotch discussed your next plan of action. he was benching you once you returned from a leave of absence, where you were to seek professional help. the only way you could return to the field was to pass another psych eval as well as have approval from your doctor. it all felt like too much.

when you arrived home, leon was waiting patiently on the couch. you sat opposite of him, feeling angry at him, at hotch, and everyone from your team. you felt betrayed. 

leon was supportive the whole time, no matter how mad you were at him. he helped you reach out to doctors, and was by your side when they suggested an inpatient treatment.

he was there through it all. he helped you slowly transition back to work. it was hard being sidelined, but you had your team who made sure you were always okay. especially technical analyst penelope garcia, who insisted you spent as much time as possible with her. she was adamant that she needed a friend in her little lair.
