these days i constantly feel like i’m flipping between “tumblr is fun bc i don’t come on here often enough to engage in discourse anymore!!!” and “what’s the point in coming on here at all when i consistently lose followers anytime i breathe” lol 

i thought i had decided against remaking, like me changing my url was kind of like me deciding i was officially going to stick it out here but it’s becoming more and more tempting to just. start fresh. i’d say more than half of my mutuals have me muted right now which is truly fine, it’s obvious my interests have shifted. but me being cool with people curating their dashboards doesn’t make it any less boring to shout into the void lollll. 

(also i can’t lie and say it isn’t a little disheartening when u feel like ur annoying people with what u choose to post, but such is life when you developed a following based on one thing and then shift ur content. i knew this going into things but it still sucks. but to be fair, i was feeling this way when i was still primarily blogging about harry throughout most of 2021. the community on here shifted a lot from 2019 onwards and i’m not sure why. hslot was truly the prime time to be a harry blog and i very much miss the camaraderie that came along with that era :’) ) 

it’s beginning to dawn on me that there are a lot more pros to me finally pulling the trigger than there are cons... the only con i can rly think of is the emotional attachment. i made this blog in march of 2012 so it’s about to turn 10 years old. i spent literally all of my teenage years and early adulthood making silly little posts here. but maybe that means it’s a perfect time to move elsewhere. i’m never gonna delete it,  i’ll probably just change my url back to angelharrie and preserve it like a little time capsule :)
