I know the NHS is under a lot of pressure. They are overworked and unstaffed but after phoning 111 for help they decided my issue required an ambulance. They kept in contact for the first hour or so to make sure my symptoms hadn’t got worse. After telling them the pain was getting worse even after painkillers they say they will speed the ambulance up. 5 hours later and nothing no sign of help or anything. I know they must be extremely busy and I hate to be the one to rant but I’ve been left in pain with no way to the hospital waiting for an ambulance that never came. Nothing has changed I’m still in a lot of pain but I have asked for the ambulance to be cancelled. My anxiety is going through the roof and now at 5am I need to try and sleep having been awake for 24 hours.
