Today, I would like to refute the logic regarding 'h8r' and 'victim' presented in Mirei Touyama’s recent videos. She has been frequently uploading content of this nature to YouTube lately. While some of you may have seen my recent posts, others might not be familiar with them yet.

Being from a different linguistic background, I could not grasp every nuance; however, one thing is certain: this is a clear case of psychological projection, and the current situation reveals undeniably problematic aspects.

In her first video, she explained the 'Echo Chamber' effect: "If a hater reposts your work and uses five alt-accounts to leave negative comments, a random viewer might think, 'Oh, I guess everyone dislikes this,' and feel pressured to agree." She then suggested a 'Mass Block' as a massive time-saver—a statement I found utterly appalling.

Ironically, this is precisely what Mirei Touyama and her sister, Brittany Robinson, are practicing now. According to 'Clearsky,' a website that tracks blocked users on Bluesky, Brittany has blocked over 200 users on her main account and about 120 on her alternative account, 'Brittany's Imagination'—surpassing 300 blocks in total. Does this seem like a normal figure? If Gooseworx, the creator of The Amazing Digital Circus, had blocked that many users, it would have sparked a massive backlash online. Is this truly justifiable?

There is a high probability that many of those they ousted as 'haters' are actually innocent people. It is evident that my friends were blocked in the same manner. On Brittany’s Bluesky, one gets blocked for not meeting a certain age requirement or for violating 'OC boundaries.' Despite my efforts to follow her guidelines, she labeled me a child and blocked me simply because I hadn't specified my age. When I politely asked her to clear up the misunderstanding, she merely 'liked' my post and unblocked me—without a single word of apology.

She abandoned even the most basic human courtesy. Shouldn't a creator apologize after wrongfully blocking a genuine fan? By weaponizing these mass blocks, the sisters seem to genuinely delude themselves into believing they are in the right.

While I am not suggesting one must engage with everyone they dislike, in reality, social interaction involves encountering diverse perspectives. They seem oblivious to the fact that their current position is nothing more than a fragile fortress of glass, ready to collapse at any moment.

In her second video, she brought up concepts such as 'The Mirror Effect (Projection),' 'Moving the Goalposts,' 'Cognitive Dissonance,' and the 'Crabs in a Bucket Mentality.' Among these, the 'Crabs in a Bucket' metaphor was particularly clear: the idea that haters find comfort in pulling down those who are trying to climb up and change their lives.

However, isn't the reality exactly the opposite? If they are the ones "climbing up," does that make us the other crabs pulling them down? This logic is fundamentally and laughably flawed. Furthermore, she states, "When the results are visible, the denial usually says more about the critic's frustration than the creator's effort."

To be clear, the fandom is not suffering from persecutory delusions. We are perfectly capable of seeing the truth. She remains oblivious to her own hsitory, in reality, she and her sister are the true 'crabs in the bucket'—the ones who stripped away the creative freedom of innocent creators(like QuadragonX, the creator of Pink Corruption Continued) and actively dragged them into the dirt.

In her third video regarding 'gore,' she continues her narrative about 'haters.' As I understand it, she claims that these individuals are obsessed with posting graphic content and lack self-control; therefore, any negative reaction only serves to encourage them. Her advice is to ignore them entirely, document the evidence with screenshots, and report them.

Certainly, any reasonable person would agree that excessively graphic gore warrants a report. However, most creators follow basic etiquette by applying appropriate labels or content warnings. There is a line that should not be crossed, and those who ignore it are the ones at fault. Yet, this brings us to a glaring hypocrisy.

Furthermore, her claim that critics are merely "obsessed with gore" demonstrates a profound ignorance of narrative storytelling and art. Popular animated series from Glitch Productions, such as Murder Drones or Knights of Guinevere, frequently utilize graphic and gore elements. Yet, their massive fandoms do not love these shows out of a mindless obsession with blood; rather, they appreciate how these intense visuals elevate the stakes, enhance the atmosphere, and deepen story immersion. Even in classical art, countless masterpieces displayed in world-renowned museums depict grotesque and gory scenes to convey deep human emotions. Does Mirei genuinely believe that anyone who appreciates these narrative and artistic choices is just a "hater"? She fails to understand the fundamental difference between purposeful artistic expression and mindless shock value. This flawed understanding brings us directly to a glaring hypocrisy.

Even if we set aside other major controversies, it is well-known that during her 'Breabear' era, she created inappropriate illustrations and animations featuring her sister’s character—without any content warnings whatsoever. At the time, her channel was hosting 'The Pink Corruption' (a Just Shapes & Beats fan-made series), making it highly accessible to young children. Given the nature of that content, it would not have been surprising if it had been reported itself. Does she believe that gore produced by others deserves to be reported, while her own past inappropriate and suggestive works are exempt?

The fourth video was, in my opinion, the most appalling and contemptible of all. Under the section 'Important Distinction,' she states: 'Victims of actual abuse often struggle to speak up, blame themselves, and may minimize what happened to them.' This is an incredibly dangerous and irresponsible narrative.

While it is true that trauma can make it difficult for victims to speak out, educational institutions in my country—and indeed, society at large—teach victims that they must never exaggerate or minimize their experiences; they must speak the truth as it is. We are taught that victims should never blame themselves and that those around them must provide a supportive environment to listen and offer comfort.

Adhering to the logic in her video only risks allowing the abuse to escalate until it becomes irreversible. In many cases, victims finally speak out when they have reached a breaking point, desperately needing help and finally speak out. When they finally share their truth, are they merely 'playing the victim'? This rhetoric is deeply insulting and incredibly dangerous, especially to actual victims of violent crimes.

In addition, one of my friends was almost sexually assaulted by their ex. To protect themselves, they had to scream to draw a crowd—including mall employees, a security guard, and random onlookers—just to yell at her to step back. Even then, she refused to leave until the security guard finally threatened to arrest her. Fortunately, the assault was narrowingly avoided, but if my friend had not cried out for help, a truly horrific tragedy would have undoubtedly occurred. Crimes of this nature can only be prevented when victims are able to loudly alert those around them.

While her criteria for distinguishing victims may not be entirely false in a vacuum, within this specific context, it sounds like nothing more than an order for real victims to remain silent. This rhetoric drags victims further into the abyss and is, quite frankly, the exact textbook logic employed by perpetrators to silence their victims and suppress the truth.

The fifth video is equally preposterous. The core argument here is that the audience 'only knows the output, not the operator'—that our knowledge is merely a 'low-resolution snapshot' colored by our imagination. Let me be clear: the audience is nowhere near as ignorant as she claims.

As someone who has produced stop-motion animation for academic projects and currently works as an illustrator, I am acutely aware of the immense labor and blood, sweat, and tears involved in creation. And, I, along with many other artists and animators in the community, possess the empathy to wait for a creator’s growth. We understand the grueling reality of solo production—from OST and puppet making to storyboarding. However, there is a reason why fans occasionally grow impatient.

Typical indie animators usually release 1–5 minute shorts every 3–6 months rather than long-form series. We know that a single long-form episode can take up to two years. Even major projects like Hazbin Hotel or Helluva Boss could only maintain their pace by expanding into professional studios. For a solo or small-scale creator like Brittany, completing even one season of 15–20 episodes is borderline impossible without a dedicated team. For instance, The Heroic Six,one of the series Brittany is making, took two years to produce a single 10-minute episode, and even then, the story had to be significantly condensed. When updates are this infrequent, the creator should ideally provide official information to sustain interest. Yet, there is a severe lack of substantial updates.

To make matters worse, Brittany’s 'OC Boundaries' as of 2026 explicitly ban fanfiction, effectively stifling the community's ability to engage through headcanons or theories. If we are deprived of both official information and the freedom to hypothesize, what exactly are we, the fans, expected to do? Sit in a silent vacuum and wait forever?

The sixth video is essentially a repetition of the fourth, focusing on those who allegedly 'fake' being a victim. She describes a cycle: trying to help, having advice ignored, encountering a new 'crisis,' and then feeling guilty for not helping. Ironically, this perfectly describes the situation between her and us. We, who offered sincere advice, were dismissed as 'haters' and blocked. Is she really in a position to lecture others on this? These are words that should be coming from us, not from someone who is busy building a closed-off echo chamber. It is both frustrating and saddening to watch her fans and her sister blindly defend her.

No matter how many of their posts I read, I cannot fathom their mindset.If this cycle continues, the stability of this fandom is at risk. This is a serious concern. The reasons behind their aggressive shift in tone toward the audience, while simultaneously posting this content without ever addressing past controversies, remain deeply unsettling.

By limiting interactions to only those who offer praise and removing those who provide critical feedback, the environment becomes increasingly unbalanced. This structure creates a hierarchy where the relationship between the creator and the audience lacks the mutual respect typically found among peers or friends. Instead, it appears to be a rigid system where individuals are expected to conform to specific expectations or face exclusion. This transformation from an open community to a restricted one is a significant point of contention.

The seventh video is frankly speaking, an absolute stretch. The overarching narrative presented here is incredibly extreme. In reality, if anyone actually behaved the way she describes, the community would unanimously treat them as an anomaly. This only proves how utterly absurd the premise of this video truly is. As seen throughout her "some advice for you" video series, she repeatedly relies on clichés like, "Haters often look for a reason to invalidate someone's success."

She claims that whether it is a tech upgrade, new art supplies, or just a simple dinner, critics will pounce on it. But let’s be real: unless someone is driven by a literal pathological obsession, who on earth would micromanage and nitpick such trivial matters? I sincerely hope Mirei and Brittany do not embarrass themselves by saying "they use it to build a narrative" in front of sensible people in real life. She then goes on to describe The "Sellout" Trap, whining that "If you buy something nice, they claim you've 'changed' or are 'out of touch.'" It is entirely natural for long-time followers to occasionally miss a creator's roots or "initial mindset." Yet, she exaggerates this into a malicious conspiracy. Who actually takes it to the malicious extreme she describes?

The true colors of how these sisters view their audience are laid bare in this specific sentence: "The 'Irresponsible' Narrative: If they can't find a flaw in your work, they will look for a flaw in how you manage your life, using your spending as 'proof' that you aren't deserving of your platform." As I established in my previous posts, we are not the ones suffering from persecutory delusions. And speaking of "how you manage your life"—is she referring to their own toxic habit of mass-blocking anyone who mildly displeases them? Because that is the only abnormal 'management' the fandom is actually criticizing.

Especially in Brittany’s case, it is laughable. How could people not talk about it? As the number of blocked users stealthily creeps closer to 400, even a complete outsider can look at that data and recognize that something is deeply abnormal. It is only natural that people are speaking out. Yes, it truly remains beyond ridiculous.

8.

The eighth video, you will realize how utterly absurd its content is. In this video, she explains narcissism by saying, "When things don't go their way, the frustration is no longer shimmering—it boils over."

Sure, that might apply to actual narcissists. But what if we look at the case of the people who were blocked by them? Why on earth are 300 to 400 people raising their voices against a single individual? Are we doing this without any physical evidence? Absolutely not. This issue has already been thoroughly documented and discussed across X (formerly Twitter) and DeviantArt. In fact, the only reason we are stuck here on Tumblr instead of Bluesky right now is because Brittany, the younger sister, ruthlessly blocked nearly 300 to 400 of us.

There is no world where hundreds of independent individuals suddenly suffer from the exact same mental illness just to gang up on one person.Furthermore, the sisters label every single critic who brings up these allegations as "Fake Victims" or "Haters," and both sisters are busy blocking them left and right. I believe this toxic behavior itself is the textbook definition of "Narcissistic Rage." We are not all collectively suffering from paranoia. Yet, whenever we raise legitimate concerns about their problematic actions, is it always just a "malicious conspiracy by jealous haters"?

In reality, they are the ones turning their entire world into their enemy. I also fail to understand why she uses psychiatric and psychological concepts as a shield in this series. Did doing so make her feel like her words gained more credibility? Did it make her look like some kind of benevolent person writing an educational piece? No matter what she does, she is merely forcing a negative frame onto her critics. This is nothing but an insult to both academia and the public.

These videos are not a weapon for them to use—they are simply a diagnostic report reflecting their own contradictory persona in the mirror.

The ninth video clearly demonstrates how they perceive the community. They argue that critics are merely engaging in "Rage Baiting" to gain visibility, and that such actions only serve as "fuel" for the creator's growth.

"Fuel"? If that is the case, then this post, along with the testimonies of numerous victims who previously exposed their controversies, is just "fuel" to them. However, the collective movements that occurred on X, DeviantArt, and Reddit were never cheap attempts to drive traffic or farm views. It was a matter of public interest—a legitimate effort to address Mirei’s grooming allegations and the sisters' deceptive mishandling of The Pink Corruption’s ownership. Furthermore, many of those who spoke out are creators themselves. The claim that critics act out of a "lack of original ideas" or creative ability is fundamentally groundless.

Once again, this video is used to justify their systemic censorship. They assert that interacting with critics only helps them grow, which exposes their true worldview. Who could possibly defend Brittany’s dictatorial behavior of indiscriminately blocking nearly 400 innocent fans? They desire their work to be famous, yet they completely bypassed any attempt at compromise, jumping straight to the ultimate resort of mass blocking. This abuse of power cannot be justified under the guise of creator protection.

Mirei also claims that critics have a desire for power, seeking to ruin moods and "control the narrative." Ironically, if we apply this exact logic to the sisters' behavior, they are the ones acting as the aggressors. They did not just ruin the mood of the fandom; they entirely disregarded the affection of fans who wanted to expand the community. Instead, they continually bring up "h8rs" and "Fake Victims" in these "educational" videos, effectively controlling the narrative to manipulate their remaining followers.

Their decision to dismiss our collective anger and despair as mere "jealousy" is a dangerous mischaracterization. This arrogant attitude only serves to completely pulverize the fragile shards of trust that the community has desperately tried to hold onto.

Now, at last, let us look at the tenth video. Frankly, what on earth is this? This episode feels less like a piece of commentary and more like the sisters looking directly into a mirror, describing their own actions verbatim. In fact, every single point raised in this video is a narrative that we, the fandom, should be directed at them.

She brings up clinical concepts to define "haters"—Cognitive Dissonance, DARVO, Moral Justification, and a Lack of Empathy and Externalization. Yet, ironically, these are the exact psychological weapons this duo has been wielding against their own community. Let us substitute their theoretical claims with the objective reality of what they have done.

First, the DARVO strategy is the exact blueprint of how these sisters have manipulated their fandom for years:

Deny: They denied the reality of minor grooming allegations and their part in fostering cyberbullying, brushing it all off as "mere harassment from brainless haters."

Attack: They attacked the character of genuine fans who dared to question them, branding them as "H8RS" and "Fake Victims."

Reverse Victim and Offender: They gaslit the community, claiming that the fandom's legitimate outcry and demands for accountability were actually an "assault" on their personal peace.

This alone proves that the content of their video is nothing more than a copy-paste of their own reflection.

Furthermore, you all know how utterly cowardly it is for them to rebrand "mass-blocking" as an act of "protecting one's peace." As I have demonstrated with clear data in chapters 1, 7, and 8, this video serves as a shamelessly ugly pretext to retroactively justify their indiscriminate mass-blocking of nearly 400 innocent fans. To silence the truth and protect their own self-interest, they are now hiding behind high-sounding psychological terminology, framing censorship as a 'mature choice to guard their mental well-being.' How pathetic. They enforce a tyrannical, unforgiving standard upon their fandom, yet display a sickening level of leniency toward themselves, each other, and the creators they mutually follow. This is double standards at its finest.

And finally, consider her concluding remark: "Their refusal to acknowledge the truth doesn't make your experience any less real."

This profound statement does not belong to Mirei. This is a truth that belongs to the victims, the fans, and specifically to QuadragonX (now known as SingularityOfKhaos). As a solo creator who genuinely loved the work and tried to single-handedly sustain the Pink Corruption Continued (PCC) series, they poured their soul into the community. Yet, because these sisters failed to clearly state the transfer of ownership and unilaterally resumed publishing without permission, QuadragonX was left entirely unprotected. They had to endure vicious attacks on their legitimacy and bear the full, crushing weight of public vilification from the community. The sisters will never compensate them for the trauma and lost time they had to endure. To preach about healing and reality after doing that is pure deception.

Just as they said, the fandom remembers. The sisters can abuse the block button to gag the community all they want, but it will never erase the history of what they have done. It will only cause the wound to rot, fester, and embed itself deeper into the roots of this fandom. Every single track of their behavior detailed here has done nothing but deceive, exploit, and deeply disappoint the very community that once gave them their platform.

We must remain acutely aware of this situation and strive for meaningful change. Currently, they dismiss anyone who does not align with their views, constructing a secluded kingdom where the genuine outcries of fans are treated as nothing more than a nuisance. They refuse to listen to heartfelt advice, viewing their own community not as supporters, but as selfish individuals or even potential threats. To be honest, I am beginning to feel that expecting them to change might be a case of 'too little, too late.' Yet, my faith lies not in them, but in us. I firmly believe that if people read and share this message, we can achieve some form of progress. Although my words may have strayed slightly from my original intent, my ultimate hope is that they will come to their senses and foster the kind of healthy, respectful relationship seen in other communities. I truly wish for a future where creators and fans can coexist in a positive environment.

I sincerely hope that a day will come when we can express ourselves openly and participate vibrantly on Bluesky, the very platform where they are most active.

To those of us who have been unfairly labeled as "haters" simply for speaking the truth: Do not be discouraged. When someone labels every critical voice as "hate" and blocks out the world, they are choosing to remain trapped inside a thick, suffocating shell of their own making. They prefer the comfort of a fake world over the pain of real growth. Our resistance is not an act of malice; it is the necessary 'destruction' required to break that shell wide open.

We are the ones tapping on the shell, trying to bring light into a closed-off space. If they refuse to listen and retreat into blind praise, that is their limitation, not our fault. True growth requires embracing both light and dark, praise and criticism. Those who reject half of the truth will never truly fly. We are not "haters." We are the struggle itself.

Let us rise above this absurd situation with the pride of those who have already broken free. Our resistance is the proof that we are alive and pursuing the truth.

In her 21st video, Mirei stages the absolute pinnacle of gaslighting by framing the community's public archiving and exposure as a serious felony: "Blackmail." Through this, she is treating the general public as mere criminals.

First, she twists our public outcry into a "felonious act driven by extortion." Here, she states:

"Blackmail is a serious crime that is fundamentally about power, control, and exploitation. When people—often referred to as 'haters'—resort to blackmail..."

And further claims:

"Financial Gain: Many perpetrators believe that the victim will pay any amount to keep their secret quiet, making it an 'easy' way to extort funds..."

Think about this. The title of this very playlist is "Some Advice For You," and its description reads: "This playlist is to spread awareness and help educate online creators." Yet, there is absolutely no actual advice that a real creator could benefit from. Instead, it is packed with nothing but strategies and warnings against "haters." And now, what? A felony? Is she out of her mind?

These sisters are actively defining the act of exposing their past scandals as a "blackmail and extortion" tactic used by low-life criminals to wring money or power out of them. However, what this community demanded was never money; it was "the truth and genuine reflection." What the victims want is an apology and the prevention of further harm, not financial compensation. To dare downgrade this into a petty, low-life crime is nothing more than a cowardly smokescreen to hide their own moral bankruptcy.

Furthermore, she brands her critics as "empathy-lacking contrarians seeking revenge." Here are the two exact sentences she uses:

"Revenge or Retaliation: If someone feels wronged... they may use information they possess to inflict maximum emotional or professional damage as a form of 'payback.'"

"Lack of Empathy and Ethical Boundaries: Individuals who turn to blackmail... view the victim merely as a resource to be exploited rather than a human being."

She is painting those of us who lead the public exposure—including myself and my friends—as if we are sociopaths burning with personal vindictiveness, trying to ruin someone's career without a shred of empathy.

Do not listen to a single word of this video. This, too, is a textbook act of DARVO.

Who is the one that genuinely shattered ethical boundaries and exploited the trust of minor fans? Who is the one that lacked empathy so severely that they stabbed their own fans and fellow creators in the back, choosing to control the entire fandom through the tool of mass-blocking? The true perpetrators are the sisters themselves. Their cruelty truly knows no bounds.

The most mind-boggling part has to be this next section. She stages a grand "victim cosplay" by presenting a set of safety guidelines:

"Important Safety Note: Blackmail is illegal... Do not pay... Do not engage..."

And she goes on to say:

"Report it: Contact local law enforcement. In the United States, you can also report online crimes to the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3)."

I cannot believe she is actually bringing the FBI into this. By explicitly mentioning a federal reporting channel like the IC3, she finishes her video with a dramatic masquerade, pretending they are victims of a massive national cybercrime syndicate. This is a classic scare tactic designed to instill legal fear into critics and force them into silence.

However, we have absolutely no reason to stop. Public criticism, rooted in undeniable evidence that is already openly available on the internet, can never be a subject of an FBI investigation. This desperate attempt to intimidate the public by hiding behind the names of federal laws and institutions is the ultimate proof of how cornered this pathetic "advice" series truly is.

This is barely the starting point of Vol. 3, and I honestly dread to imagine how the rest of their narrative will unfold.

Our resistance must remain steadfast, driven by a shared commitment to the truth rather than malice. In the end, this situation is no longer just about animation or personal grievances; it is a fundamental question of morality and accountability.

I would like to speak to you all by quoting a passage from one of the most famous dystopian novel, George Orwell's 1984:

"Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past."

To those of us who have been unfairly branded as "criminals" or "blackmailers" simply for refusing to forget the truth: do not let their desperate threats shake your resolve. When creators resort to weaponizing federal agencies and masking public accountability as a federal felony, they aren't displaying strength—they are exposing the absolute depth of their own panic. They are trying to rewrite history by terrorizing their own community into silence, desperately hoping that fear will make us look away from the cold, hard facts of their misconduct. But we will not bow to this pathetic intimidation.

We are the ones standing firmly in the light of reality, holding up a mirror to a closed-off fortress of delusion. If they choose to treat an entire fandom as an enemy syndicate and retreat into a sanctuary built on blind praise and institutional fear, that is their downfall, not our burden. True artistry cannot survive inside a vacuum of censorship, and a clean reputation cannot be manufactured through a mass-blocking spree. No matter how many legal threats they throw from behind their screens, they can never erase the collective memory of this community. We are not extortionists. We are the unbreakable evidence of their actions.

Let us rise above this absurd situation with the pride of those who have already broken free. Our resistance is the proof that we are alive and pursuing the truth.
