Xenia means you feed, house, and respect the homeless, regardless of what got them there

Xenia means you do the work to unlearn racism, misogyny, homophobia, ableism and transphobia

Xenia means (with obvious exceptions) you treat criminals and felons as human beings worthy of dignity and respect

Xenia means you make your environments less overstimulating if you know you’ll be with an autistic person

Xenia means Fuck the police

Xenia means you talk to the elderly neighbour who’s living on their own, and has nobody in their life

I rock I hand flap there’s an obvious problem in my speech and how process information. My stims are vocal are uncontrollable and unconscious. They can be dangerous for me or others or annoying i experience stims where hit and bite self where pick at skin where bang head. My eye contact is either nothing or all and all means staring.

I appear unaware of others because generally I am. I wonder when In large places and need a caregiver with me. I can’t go out my self, it’s not safe. Not only am I clocked off as autistic, I’m clocked off as a defiant black girl. I stand wrong walk wrong run wrong act wrong. And for many black people wrong means bad.

They see autism. But autism in a black child. And now it’s not autism they see. It’s a bad angered “needs a beating” black child. I’m not accepted as a person or someone with autism.
