Normally, I'd just share my alternative fashion photos to wrap up the previous year but I don't have nice photos of the two lolita coords I wore. 😭 I was planning to re-do the two coords buy I got busy cleaning my room and finding something. 😑 So, in this case, I'll wrap up the year summarizing the most memorable activities I had in 10 photos~ - 2 museum visits, with the Pinto Art Museum as my ultimate fave visit (WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK THERE AND TALK ABOUT THE ART THAT I LIKE EXTENSIVELY AFTER SAID VISIT. Pinto Art Museum is so pretty and calming. They have different varieties of art, such a delight for the senses. 🎨❤️) - 3 conventions (top photos are from APCC - hi friends, bottom left is from BoA - that Sakura outfit was so pretty 😍; it is handmade!!!, bottom right is from Cosmania ❤️) - SS7 Manila 💙 - One the World Manila ✨ - PhFW S/S 2019 (there are a bunch of other fashion shows but this one I like the most because I went with friends 😊) - 3 weddings 💐 (Tin's, Ate Ellaine's, and Cha's - the only photo I actually own is from Cha's wedding. Was late for Tin's so I watched the wedding march thru Macky's live stream. The photos from Ate Ellaine's wedding are in my busted phone~ 😑) - 3 fan gatherings (attended a Nielwoon event followed by a birthday celebration for Daniel, then an OngHwang event the week after ✨) - a couple of tea-drinking afternoons 🍵, movie-viewing days & nights 🎞️, some boardgame nights, dinners, a couple of alcoholic affairs 🍹, and a bunch of barkada and family gatherings (although I realized that I do not have decent photos in the fam gatherings... or probably, the good ones are saved in my broken phone? 🤔) - some bookish events (had 15 books signed at four different events, attended a ton of book sales too haha 📚💸) - 3 art fairs (I remember attending three, with this one artwork of "Maybe the Night" by _fayelle as my most fave. I wanna talk about the other artworks and zines from these fairs because they are all pretty... but possibly in another post, will tag all artists in said post haha 😅) I hope for a pretty eventful 2019, one with less hospital visits 🏥 this time around. #verylatepost orz 03312018: Archery date with MummyKitty (Yanna) 💖 For the first time ever, I tried archery at Arrowland - SM North with Yanna, whose main sport is archery. 💖 I learned the basics and managed to do okay. I hit the wall half the time. 😅 No photos in the range, tho. This is a serious sport for MummyKitty. Then, we just caught up with one another while hopping from one cafe/resto to another: Genki Sushi where I tried this egg dish she likes and ate their fries for the first time, Nord's with the awesome tasty pastries, and then, Soban K-Town where they had the most awesome K-pop playlist that I ended up fangirling while eating and where I ate kimchi for the first time. Haha. This has been so much fun. Will certainly do this again soon with MummyKitty. 😺😺

Happy Mom's Day to my amazing Mum (and to all of the Moms and Mom figures out there)! 💟💟💟 We were planning to go out and eat somewhere nice today but we had a movie marathon this afternoon (Storks, Mother's Day, and Blended) and they (my siblings) decided not to go out anymore. (It was so hot and we all just melted away this afternoon... I told them we should go after lunch since I woke up at noon and it's really hot. But yeah, home is okay. Less stressful. 😅) We just ordered food from Chowking and had that for dinner. Mum wanted Chowking halo-halo so... yep. No pictures today because hahaha, nobody bothered to dress up. 😅 So for this year's Mother's Day post, I'm sharing photos from Mum's birthday last March. 🎂 I got her a Mango Bravo cake. Mummy was disappointed over the Mango Bravo cake last Christmas because it slumped/melted when we got home (called it "squished cake" over the holidays 😝) but this one from her 5Xth birthday redeemed itself. Hahaha. My mom does her best to see things on a positive light (at most times). It's one of her best traits. 😝 ***As you may (or may not) have noticed, I have not caught up with posts. My posts last March ended because I got these photos late. 😶 I would definitely try to catch up on posts. This (posting and sharing) is how I don't forget what I did at the end of the year -- when I look back and see that I somehow managed to live and not just survive this life. Hahaha. 😅😅😅

03172018 - Miao Cat Cafe with @chocolatsirk Finally! Haha. We both agreed to go here and finally, we managed to go to this very lovely cat cafe. The cats weren't that active and some have colds (due for a vet visit on the Monday after, according to the shopkeeper 😔) but there were nice, kind ones who came and said hello. One even sat on my lap! 😆 We got so distracted by the cats that Kristal and I didn't have photos together. 😅 I have never been surrounded by this many cats in my entire life and it made me very happy. 💖

03092018 - A Sudden Gathering Up North! This was oodles of fun. It was an awesome Friday night! @yldi.grass bought a game called "Disturbing Friends" wherein you guess the answer of the person holding the question card. Those who have the same answer as that person gets a Win card and the first one to get 10 Win cards is the winner for a round. Questions are a dash of disturbing and I won the first round. It reminded everyone that I won the first time we played Cards Against Humanity. Now, Yel thinks I am capable of murder. 😅 (But no, I am not, really. I'll get too worried after. 😓) It's pretty screwy fun. Second photo shows the screwiest cards we encountered. Those were so hard to answer and I did not get those. 😅😝😂 Anyway, I am sharing photos of my fave question cards (3rd to 5th photos). I am curious how others will answer those. 😶😅

03092018 - Bench Fashion Week Day 1 These are videos of the final walks for Kashieca, Vero Moda, Karen Millen, and Vania Romiff. (Videos are posted in that orders. 😀) This was absolutely fun. I love the collections featured! I have a couple of faves which needs to be in my closet. The Victorian-inspired blouses are definitely on my must-have list along with some of the sunglasses they used in Kashieca. (Soon, maybe. Hahaha. 😝) I wanted to take a photo of my outfit (I actually brought two blazers and two pairs of boots because I couldn't decide which set to wear! But I ended up wearing an entire black and white set~) but then, I realized I should do that properly. By properly, I mean in full hair and make-up and in a shoot mood. It's the best monochrome (no, not goth haha) outfit (possibly otona kei?) I have so far. I should make time and do a mini-shoot with that outfit. 😆

03022018 - The book launch of The Cappellini Method by Giulio Cappellini. 📙 What was nice about this talk was that Giulio Cappellini openly shared his life filled with design as he talked about his book -- like, how he met the Queen of England and how his team is a big factor in his life. Copies of this book are still available at Studio Dimensione - One Parkade. He also signed copies of the book after the launch and this became the first booksigning I didn't participate in even though I was there and the author was there, signing away. (Okay, I did get a book signed. It happened so randomly. In the end, I decided to let another person buy my signed copy instead. 😝) Yep, I didn't take much photos of the event. I realized that the spot I was standing on was bad for photos so I just listened. I only grabbed these after-event photos from @_jeffrey_jacinto_. (Thank you!)

HEEchondo memes make me so happy right now. This is my fave thus far. Heenim is awesome! 💟 (Photo not mine. Has no Photoshop skills.) Yup, I'mma be mass posting again so that this microblog is up to date. My journal has two blank weeks and I'm only starting to make this week's page today. 😓 I don't think there's a lot to post, tho: a work event, a cat cafe visit, Mum's birthday (my sister forgot to send those photos 😶)... We'll see, I suppose. 😅

02242018 - #AfternoonFeels at Fully Booked This is the booksigning I went to after Komiket and before meeting a friend to go clothes shopping. 💟😄 I was actually late for this and got there in the middle of the interview. I mainly went to this event for the Dawn Lanuza booksigning but after that interview, we were all taught how to decorate plates and bags. They also have an Instax booth. 😄 This #booksigning for #TheLastTimeIllWriteAboutYou (revised and expanded) was really nice since we got to talk to Ms. Dawn for a while, not just the typical hi-hello-thank you-goodbye. The earlier booksigning for Ms. Dawn (I missed it because of the debut) was really short, and didn't give anyone a chance to talk. 😅 This was a really wonderful afternoon. 💟 Pls pardon my make-up-less face. 😝

02242018 - My #Komiket2018 Haul Haha, #latepost. 😅 It was the first time I attended a Komiket and wow, I absolutely had fun. 😄 I didn't get to take much photos during the event because I was on a schedule. I couldn't stay long because I was headed for a booksigning in BGC that day. During this event, I picked up stickers and one washi tape I can use for journalling, a couple of zines, and one print. zThe zines are so so nice and want to collect more. 😍 The print from Eyesore is signed at the back! 💟 If you're interested in any of the #stickers and #zines, I'm tagging the artists on the photos. I was able to get most of the business/contact cards of the artists so they're in the flatlay also. (I'm still looking for the others and will tag once I find 'em. 😅) I have this inkling to write a blog about my sticker choices, the zines, and the Eyesore print. This one IG post won't do it justice. 😶😣 We'll see if I'll get to do that. Haha. But for now, I'm gonna go make more journal entries and use some of the stickers here. 💟 Thank you so much to the artists for making and sharing their art. 💟

02212018 - #PAMXXX Yep, second fam party for the month of February. My fabulous cousin @pammanansala threw an awesome party. 🎂 I haven't been to a bar in years (because I quit partying and stayed sober as much as I can because of gastritis and not-so-recent mishaps related to alcohol) and this was absolutely fun. I hanged out with my nephews and nieces throughout the night. Hahaha. I went home earlier because I still had work the following day. 😝 These are the photos I was tagged in. (I know there were others. I just don't know where they are. Hahaha. 😝) I didn't take photos because of my crap phone and its battery-less existence. 😶

02102018 - #ToniXVIII I never really thought I'd be attending debuts at my age because a good number of my peers are getting engaged, getting married, and/or having kiddos. 😅 Half of my fam attended - me, Mum, and little bro. Mum and I had roles so we had to attend. This party was awesome. I did my short spiel. (I don't have photos because my little brother forgot to take some. 😑) Mum gave her speech well. (Has vid of speech and the group photo.) Food was amazing. Haha. I grabbed most of the photos. I don't even know where to get the official ones. Hahahaha. While getting my hair fixed, I realized that I missed my straight hair. 😂

02092018 - NBS #BookBingeBazaar! I told myself I wasn't going to go to ANY book sales. 📚📚📚 I had a large pile of unread books on a table and some were already on my bedroom floor (which I cleaned up for The Purge -- my own book sale on my FB page) but you know, I had this inkling I'd regret it if I didn't go to at least one of the big book sales last month. I opted to go to the NBS one because of the books they featured -- Love and Gelato, Magnus Chase, and a bunch of others -- and because of the possibility they'd bring in the writer for a book signing. It's a good bonus that it is closer to home. I went there on the evening of the first day. It was chaotic. Haha. I couldn't take many photos, just these. The last photo shows my own picks but I had to trim that down coz yes, unread book pile exists, money is limited, and my back will hurt carrying that many books. I did not get everything, just something. It's retail therapy at it's finest. 💸 (Imagine if I went to BBW. How am I going to stop myself from getting everything? How am I going to trim down? 😅)

02022018 - one of many dinners with @joy.aviles (but it's the only one with photos thus far 😝) I just realized I never got to share this. Hahahaha. It's the first time we ate at Bench Cafe. Joy and I decided to share this huge breakfast platter/sampler called Bongamusal and the famous leche flan called Flan B. The platter had spam, fried milk fish, tocino (which I, surprisingly, liked 😅), corned beef, and US beef tapa (which I also, surprisingly, liked 😋). Yup, we ate breakfast food for dinner. Hahaha. The food is very delicious and would definitely eat again at Bench Cafe. Would like to try their bento boxes next. (Those are the bestsellers~ 😋)

#flashbackfriday: I found this on my phone (one that I used around 2016). This gray photostack is the image used in my 18th birthday invite. That's around 9 years ago. Haha. Why it's in this phone, IDK. (Yes, I used to be a vain teenager so I have lots of selfies. Most of those are make-up less also! 😂) Nowadays, I don't take selfies much, only when necessary. I got tired of it, I suppose. 😅 Someone has to take it for me now. LOL. (PSA: I might post Feb events over the weekend so I might spam post. There isn't much -- two birthday parties, Komiket, a booksigning, and tonight's work event. Haha. 😘)
