Just saw the interview where Curry Barker explained that it's totally possible to get a normal wish from the One Wish Willow, and I love the way they did that so much. The reason Obsession happened isn't because it's trying to twist Bear's desires into something evil. It's not even because he phrased his want wrong. Obsession happened because Bear got his hands on a magic item that could do anything in existence, and chose to force someone to fall in love with him, which is an inherently evil thing to do.

i think people should be nicer to schizophrenics

I feel like people reblogging and spreading this post around are completely missing the original context that this was a vent post and not a general statement. I am schizophrenic. I posted this after remembering a specific time someone actively made an effort to comb through my online profiles and look for reasons to claim I'm "problematic" in order to get me banned from one of the few places i feel safe talking in because they found me mildly annoying and wanted a more valid reason to hate me. I was a minor at the time.

A lot of people are reblogging this without the addition too which frustrates me because I feel like it's really important to bring attention to the specific sort of discrimination schizophrenic people are subject to.

People will see that you're visibly mentally ill, think that you're annoying and actively look for reasons to dislike you, leading to your presence being constantly fucking monitored and judged because everyone's looking for a concrete reason to hate you. That's what this post is about. this is not a general positivity post or a statement. This is an exasperated vent from a schizophrenic person who has been pushed to his fucking brink so many times.

This doesn't just apply to schizophrenia of course- this applies to other schizospec or psychotic disorders, this applies to personality disorders (ESPECIALLY CLUSTER B.) and this spplies to DID and OSDD and other dissociative disorders. Hell this applies to any even remotely stigmatized disorder. I've seen friends with nothing up with them except for mild autism be treated like this solely because someone found them annoying.

My point is that people should really think hard about why you may find these sorts of people annoying. Just really think about if they actually did anything wrong to you other than be annoying.

I literally do not care how much they "resist treatment" or "don't accept help" that's still a mentally ill person and they deserve respect, NOT for you to vent about them under my post about my own fucking experiences with schizophrenia for me, another schizophrenic person, to see.

This is exactly how my fucking family talks about me. You need to realize that people can see what you fucking put in tags.

how does a point as simple as "we should be nicer to schizophrenics" make you think that replying with "Oh I only partially agree because this specific schizophrenic is a burden on my life… not you by the way op!!! you're a perfectly fine and normal schizophrenic!! it's just that this specific schizophrenic is someone who has been a burden to me and i don't think we should be nice to them" is a good idea

I really hope your younger brother finds a better support system because it clearly isn't you.

highly recommend: making that character’s mourning WORSE!!!! make them play pretend with that corpse. make it seem like they’re moving on until they start telling the new person to start dyeing their hair the color of the person they lost and start calling them their name to make it clear that they’re hanging out with this person now to try and make them into the old one. make your grieving character put people in the same situation the person they’re mourning died in and have them hope they die to prove it was unpreventable. make your grieving character put people in the same situation the person they’re mourning died in and have them hope they live to prove that it wasn’t doomed to happened. make your grieving characters actively harm the people around them and the memory of the person they lost.
