the premise primarily centers around the main family ( which includes extended family ) and how their dynamics change as they navigate different trails in high society.

there are other elite families in the top 20 that are npc's , but these families also have slots for their children that will be open to apply for when a lover, engagement or marriage to someone in the main family becomes a relevant plot point.

muns are also free to write their own npc relationships if they wish ( usually secret affairs they don't want the family to know about for reasons ), possibly begin illicit affairs with muses that are estate staff ( maids, butlers, etc) , though just like you see among chaebol families represented in k-drama's...marriage alliances between families will be the primary way that lovers, fiances and spousal roles are filled and those roles will open up for applications at some point. It's a big way that chaebol's consolidate power and opportunities between families.

one of the skeletons we are working on ( maybe two ) will likely have a lover or fiance already, and those skeletons will already be part of the pool that can be applied for when applications open.

Muses are not competing against other muses and their families per-se, instead your muses are all part of one large family that just broke into the top 20 most influential list, and you work together to make the family rise through the ranks.

Skeletons ( for family roles, and maybe staff ), otherwise your character is an original one.

There may be muse caps at first to make sure skeletons are fulfilled.

All muse contributions matter, and the choices you make for the plot can help or hinder the family's progress. The most advantageous choices aren't always black and white or obvious though.

Gain skills, talents, and titles that will boost the family's status, avoid scandal ( or create it ) and leverage family power and connections to help the family climb its way to the top.

Participate in an elite society social calendar, attending ( or not ) several events throughout the year, rubbing shoulder to shoulder with big wigs to gain benefits.

A marriage system meant to add new muse slots for the family and gain bonuses and other perks in doing so.
