“You know you can’t just bring your hot ass over here and expect me to not totally stare, Sunshine. It’s practically illegal.” If Andy hadn’t been climbing, she would of placed her hands on Andy’s thighs - instead, she just whispered in her ear. “You never said how high I couldn’t put my hands.” Laughing, she took hold of one of the straps on the backpack Andy carried. “Let me take this, Sunshine. Seriously. I can carry this up no problem.” Mostly. She still hurt, but she certainly wasn’t going to let Andy try and take the heavier bag up with her.

“Oh I don’t do fifty plus squats a day for your benefit. I know you’d like to think i did but no...and you can keep them where’s appropriate Miss!” She joked and then shook her head. “Leave it on. I think it’s helping me balance a little and if it snags then fuck it...it’ll be fine somehow.” She sounded a little nervous but she was also being desperately optimistic as she continued to climb. Her nerves were easing a little but that was because she was letting part of her brain be distracted while the other was content with the work her arms and legs were putting in. “Troy Bolton is a character from High School Musical. Basketball star with a killer voice and UBC -- University of British Columbia. It’s where I go to school...” She explained with a laugh and shook her head, readjusting her grip on a nearby pole. “And you owe me the answers to the meaning of life and other interesting questions. Actually not the meaning of life because you’ll talk for hours. Just a little catch up between us really...I know how you like being close to me so you can’t complain.”

Eretria could hear her friend shouting, even from across the amusement park - probably had something to do with echoing voices. She decided to climb out of the booth and sit on the bars, shooting a paintball with her sling shot. Of course, it landed at least a good five feet from Cameron, but there was definitely a beautiful orange splat in front of her. “I look forward to playing with your ghost!” She laughed, waving down at her ant sized friend.

Andy gave a slightly confused look when Eretria kissed her cheek but it wasn’t a very consistent expression as she knew the girl’s gestures. She knew her enjoyment of physical proximity and although Andy may jest about pushing her away she did enjoy Eretria’s company -- sometimes she was the only person who could keep up with Andy’s energy but she did think she was a bit nuts. “Okay you need to not grope me and stare at my ass while I climb. I wear these shorts for ease and enjoyment and not so you can stare at my perfect ass. So keep the support above the waist or on the thighs...” She teased before grasping another bar and hauling herself up. She almost wondered whether this counted as a decent workout; she figured it did because Eretria was in great shape. 

Cameron wandered around. A goofy smile adorned her face. She couldn’t rid herself of it. Her muscles were tired in her face, but she didn’t care. She was happy. Truly and completely happy. However that could be the ecstasy coursing through her veins. She’d never really done anything harder than weed. It wasn’t that she’d judged because she didn’t– Cam had always been one to live and let live. She just didn’t trust herself on anything more.  But today, she needed it. Her life had been so completely derailed. Her dad wasn’t her biological father. Her best friend was certainly something– she didn’t even want to think about that. Practically bouncing towards the nearest person, she beamed. “Hey! Hey! You have a very shiny face. I mean– a pretty face,” she giggled, feeling somewhat thirsty. Her pupils must’ve been blown– and the glorious haze overtook her. Everything felt so close but yet so far. It was wonderful.

“Holy fucking shit why are you so enthusiastic?” Andy blurted out before she even really processed the woman. She’d been so content but then Cameron had practically flown at her and -- oh shit. “What the fuck is wrong with you?”  She hissed, verging on angry but delving deep in to her concerned tone. She grasped Cam’s upper arm and yanked her around the side of the building, fixing her eyes on her with sincere confusion and worry written across her own. Andy may not touch drugs at all but she knew her teammates did. She was in college after all and she’d seen how some of the people looked on the occasions she’d join them at clubs and parties. Only once as she stared at her own face under the influence of drugs and she’d sworn never again. “Is this some crazy night gone wrong? Are you lost? Why are you -- you called my face pretty....something is so messed up here. But you look so happy?” The drugs. “Are you okay?”

“Uh huh.” Was all that Celeste replied to the girl with a smirk. She knew she had said something else, but she decided to let it slide. “Of course we can still call it a sleepover. Even if we were eighty I would still call it a sleepover.” Celeste jumped up, and down while clapping her hands quietly. She grinned and squealed a little. “I’m so excited! Sleepover tonight! We can totally do yours, and I’m not going to judge your room at all. I’d offer mine, if you want to do that. Only thing is that my apartment is small, and so is my bed. Therefore, whichever place you want to do it at, it is completely fine with me.” She grabbed her backpack, and slung it over her shoulder. “Do you want to grab something healthy to eat while we plan our sleepover?”

“Okay then I shall never again question calling it a sleepover thanks to you!” She chuckled and rolled her eyes just a little before the excitement on Celeste’s face just made her stomach do little flips. She liked to see people so intensely happy that they became almost childish. “Well I have a big bed and my parents won’t be in until late but they wouldn’t care anyway. My brothers may be in but they’re assholes so just ignore them...” She explained sheepishly before pulling her towel tighter around her shoulders. “Healthy? Planning? Wow girl you are really talking to me right now but sure, you can plan whatever you want while we get something...or we can collect some food from my mother’s restaurant on the way back? Free of charge.”

“Finally somebody who gets it. Where have you been all my life?! That’s an exaggeration. But where have you been since I got here?” He teased with a smile. Soccer was something not everybody understood, he’d heard the whole, it’s boring. You just kick around a ball spiel. It always made him roll his eyes and move on to another conversation. “Hey, toot away. We’ve gotta be proud of our skills. People assume soccer is easy, but they’re wrong. It took a bit to heal but it’s better than ever and basically the same as before. If I train too hard it acts up, but I’ve found the balance. But think about it. You’d end up being kids hero.”

“Probably roughing up my knees and sliding around on a field. And I mean I’ve been doing that forever and since you got here. More than likely.” She chuckled and continued to look at him with definite excitement all over her face. She didn’t just love playing soccer but she could talk about it for hours. It drove her mother insane and her brothers, despite playing most sports themselves, waved her away. “It’s so tough and the amount of injuries and strains we come close to are horrific. You’d know. And don’t say that about hero...I’d be a crap hero and it’ll make me emotional.”
