super excited to catch Chicano Batman in Cambridge Ma this coming Tuesday. 

Example 3. We’re actually going out of order here because this was the first single from the album released and its obviously a break up song to his former band mate Amber Coffman. It’s just that some of these shots for the video I can’t tell if he is mocking himself or if they’re sincere. The hip hop break down in this song is so out of left field too, but I sort of love it. 

example 2. Absolutely beautiful song, but what is going on here? Help me understand it. Is he serious with these shots? Is this sarcastic or is this a serious video? 

Never has a video ruined a song for me as much as this new Dirty Projectors video for Cool Your Heart. For that matter, all of the new Dirty Projectors videos are absolutely ruining what might be my favorite album of 2017 thus far. Dawn is great and makes the track and looks cool as fuck but what is going on with David Longstreth’s image? discuss? comments? what I am I missing here? 

Caught Gabriella Cohen opening for Foxygen last night and absolutely loved their set. This is their latest single and video for “I Don’t Feel so Alive.”

This will be the first East coast performance of this sweet little collaboration between freak folkers Kevin Morby, Eric D. Johnson of Fruit Bats, producer wonderkind and stellar all around musician Sam Cohen perform with Joe Russo on the skins and Josh Kaufman on Bass. Also bob Weir recently sat in with them. Super excited for this.

I just love discovering new records that are good from start to finish. A single is one thing, but this record by Paul and the Tall Tree’s is absolutely stellar from start to finish. What do you think?
