it’s so hard for me to reread homestuck and it’s quite literally all vriskas fault
whenever there’s a chance to be the special or have a moment of glory she’ll take it no matter what
which means constantly is putting her friends in danger and in some instances DISABLING them. i know that she grew up way too quickly but so did every other troll
after vriska physically turns tavros’s brain into mush and puts together her pirate crew, (quick shoutout to sollux for not letting her live down all the stupid shit she did) she finds out about the ring of life that hussie was going to give her she IMMEDIATELY starts SCREAMING at tavros to get it for her like the selfish brat that she is
she’s willing to completely abandon her plans and crew in the dream bubbles to become relevant again because why wouldn’t she
finally tavros has had enough of her bullshit and basically says “i’d rather die than stand another second listening to you” and then fef sol and nep all join the “fuck this” club and leave
and then when tavros manages to build up a huge army by just being himself she CANT BELIEVE IT. even though she wanted tavros to become stronger she can’t accept the fact he got there through words and not force
and then he emotes on her and reading that panel for the first time was the happiest i’ve ever been in my whole life
