Remus rolled his eyes and chuckled lowly, so he wouldn’t get caught. “I hear that. But you know how it is. Freshmen are so hyped to be in college they let all that ego get to their head and then the midterm comes and bam!” Remus clapped his hands. “They’re looking for tutors. It was something we all had to go through.” Remus couldn’t help but chuckle at the thought, knowing that was the case for his friends, minus him. “Oh, I’m doing notes for sociology honors. It’s just vocabulary but I like to add some more context.”

“Fact, or rumour — did your professor actually assign you guys an assignment to just people watch? Or, was that just a group of boys just sullying the good name sociology, to stare are people walking by?” Stretching her arms over her head, a silent yawn escaped her lips. Relaxing her arms, she reached into her bag, pulling out her laptop, before fishing out her usb of notes. “I will have you know, I was not one of those unfortunate freshmen, it would have been out of the question for me to have a tutor - especially one that was still a student, themselves.”

“I’m offsite, I live like a mile away. I think it’s a citywide problem,” Daisy replied, logging into her computer, “of course it would be today of all days when I have things to do!” She smiled, wryly.

“If it’s citywide, it’ll be up in no time. There is not a chance, anyone with a business is going to go without wifi, and it’s almost comical how easy it is to poach their internet connection.” Taking a bite out of the twizzler in her hand, she couldn’t help but smile, watching the other girl so carefully watching whether anyone was watching her eat. “You don’t have to hide your food, you can get away with eating most things in here — they only pick on you, if you’ve dropped, or spilled something on a book. Also, who was so cruel to assign a holiday project?”

“Don’t worry, I have coffee to sustain me. But I’ll take you up on that offer for the chair, if you don’t mind.”

“I can smell the coffee, it’s so good, but how many shots of espresso are in there? Either the coffee just has a strong smell, or you’ve got about twenty shots in there.”

“Every day I get happier and happier that I was the one child who chose a fine art study,” Narcissa mused, flipping through a page or two of her sister’s notes with a furrowed brow. “More internships? You’re going to run yourself into the ground, I swear on my life.”

“I envy you, I think I mentioned taking an elective that was not business, and father thought I had caught a fever that resulted in brain damage.” Smiling softly, she shrugged her shoulders. “The applications are really just for the sake of appearance, and for fathers ego. He wants to see who is going to fight the hardest to get in his good graces. Anyways, are there any recitals I should be buying tickets for? You are an absolute delight when performing.”

“Thank God I really needed this seat.” Remus set his bag down and sighed in relief, placing his own textbooks on the table. “I really appreciate it, and I have my own snacks thank you, which is free for you to take if you want.” Remus smiled and took out two notebooks, opening up his first textbook to the assigned pages. 

Waving it off with a smile, Andromeda piled her books to one side. “It’s no problem, really, anyways — I would much rather share the table with you, than a rowdy group of freshmen.” Highlighting a few lines in her textbook, she looked over at the books he opened. “What class are you doing readings for?”

Narcissa moved the books and leaned over to look at what her older sister was working on, a mildly curious smile on her face. “What is all this? It’s only the second month of school, Andy, how do you have this much work already?”

Smiling fondly, as her sister leaned over her work. “Unfortunately, my classwork began piling up the second week of school — not to mention, father has me filling out applications for a few more internships. All this paperwork is starting to get to me. What have you been up to?”

Daisy carefully shifted the girl’s books aside slightly, slipping into the spare seat and pulling out her laptop.

Raising a brow, she watched the girl carefully handling her books, before turning back to the case study on hand. “That’s fine, although, wifi has been down around most dormitories. You might not want to leave, at least until you can be sure wifi is back up.”
