BACKGROUND

andrew was born in seattle, washington and lived there up until six months ago, when he moved to brooklyn.

he doesn’t talk to his parents very often, but they are on good terms.

PERSONALITY

you’ll never meet a kinder person than andrew. if you need advice, reassurance, or a shoulder to cry on, andrew’s your guy. there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for the people he loves, and he loves openly and freely.

andrew is a hopeless romantic. he’s dreamed of falling in love and getting married for as long as he can remember. his career got in the way of that before, but now he’s ready to meet someone and settle down. if you’re dating andrew, expect a lot of affection, love letters, and bouquets of flowers for no reason.

CAREER

andrew has loved reading ever since he was young. picking up books like nancy drew, sherlock holmes, and the hardy boys, he dug into any mystery novel he could get his hands on. that later turned into writing mysteries of his own, short stories, novellas, and eventually novels.

after writing, his second passion was teaching. teaching what he loved to do and writing in his free time seemed like a pretty good gig to him. summers off allowed him time to work on his novels, and the kids he worked with kept him inspired.

he got his first book deal at age 24, his debut novel gained critical acclaim and he swiftly rose to be a best selling author. he got to the point where he was able to live off of being a novelist and quit his job teaching. those first few years he was churning out books like his life depended on it and he quickly burnt out. he had lost the joy in his work. everything became about selling as many books as possible, rather than writing for the joy of it. now, a decade after his first book was published, he had returned to teaching and is working on his first novel in three years. this one, he is writing for himself.
