Here is my finished arena concept piece.

I began creating some concept art.

We really liked the arena style from the Lord of War Animatic.

As a team we started to conduct some research into Gladiator arenas.

Inspiring Animatic

This anamatic storyboard has a similar theme to ours and so can be helpful.

So we’ve been attempting to storyboard our anamatic. That last team had talked about how the crystal species was built up of warriors and that they would have to prove themselves by fighting. Once we brainstormed, we concluded that having a gladiator style fight would be the best way forward. After exploring it further and researching gladiators. We came up with the idea of two friends having to fight each other to the death. During our anamatic we want to include a flashback of the two a children, growing up together and show how the rivalry developed.

Here's the Playblast for the ballwith tail in the Obstacle course. We learnt quite abit about parenting and locators which im still getting the hang off.

A concept I created pretty much based on Blades edge with a twist. I love how this picture turned out and is deffo my best work lust far!
