november is complex regional pain syndrome awareness month 🧡 i’ve had pain for seventeen years now. here’s some facts about crps!

• crps is the most painful condition known to science currently.

• it is rated a 46/50 on the mcgill pain scale. for reference, unprepared childbirth is rated a 36/50.

• there are very few treatment options available, and most are inaccessible and expensive. in some countries, medically-induced comas are used as treatment. there is no cure.

i have experienced non-stop pain for so long that i don’t even remember the feeling of relief.
