Amanda Grayson raised an eyebrow and Spock resisted a smile as he walked toward her. She looked him over, his sharp makeup, his all black outfit complete with a long coat that looked a bit like a cape when he moved quickly. She reached up to smooth his hair and smiled. 

“You look very handsome, Spock.” 

“I appreciate your approval, mother.” 

Amanda chuckled and placed a light kiss on his cheek, careful not to smudge any of his make up. “When can we expect you home tonight?” Spock knew she was asking simply to hear him say ‘I don’t know’. She had been wanting her youngest son to ‘have fun’ in the same ways his older brother and sister did. Spock was different, she knew that, but aren’t all teens supposed to go out and have fun and get in trouble?

Warlock was a class M planet that had not yet achieved warp capabilities but did have a large concentration of dilithium crystals– so really, it made sense for Dr. McCoy to beam down and help them set up a medical practice. It was entirely logical for him to stay for almost a full Earth month as he set up the clinic and helped the inhabitants cure a disease that was largely eradicated but deadly if one was not vaccinated against it. It was also a mostly peaceful planet, and Dr. McCoy had been left with his phaser; really, it was all very safe and logical for him to beam down a month ago and have had very little contact with the ship since then. 

What  was  illogical was Spock being worried about his husband’s safety. Their bond was strong and, despite not being able to communicate full thoughts, Spock could feel that Dr. McCoy was safe and alive.

His worry was illogical. 

“Mr. Spock, I believe if we were on Vulcan, I could have you arrested for such a lewd display.”

Hm... I actually like to think they came into their crushes from the moment they saw each other and then didn’t know how to deal with it so they spent way too long dancing around each other. The first person to actually notice their crushes was Jim and he spent ages trying to kind of trick them into talking about it.     

💓: who initiates most physical contact?

These are two touch starved men they both love contact! Spock does it more often tho. Some time after they started dating and he realized ‘oh I am allowed to touch him and that is okay and expected?’ he got in the habit of sneaking little vulcan kisses during work. Bones for sure does it too but he kind of loves Spock coming to him mostly because he still doesn’t actually think this is real and surely Spock will wise up eventually and not want some crotchety old country doctor but to his constant surprise Spock is still pressing finger kisses to him on the bridge nearly every day. 

💚: who tends to get sick more often? who is better at taking care of the other?

“Howdy y’all!” Bones smiles and waves at the chat while Spock raises his eyebrows in greeting. “C’mon and say something to the chat, darlin’.”

“Something,” Spock says dryly. Bones rolls his eyes.

On the night a church is bombed and books are saved, Aziraphale gives in to what he wants. Crowley can’t understand it but is more than willing to follow wherever the angel will lead him.

Crowley was deeply familiar with pain. Every demon was baptized in that sulfur pit, their former grace a smouldering ruin. There were myriad other examples each and every one of the Fallen could list, bother utterly merciless and utterly mundane. Crowley had gotten used to most of it. He was up on Earth and free as he could hope to be, barring some unforeseen miracle. Could maybe be a little better off but that would require him to be without his own very unique brand of suffering. A near century long nap had taken some of the edge off hard denial. Off fraternizing .

The problem was, as familiar as he might be with pain, he wasn’t the best at handling it. That was why he’d added a fresh layer in the form of charred feet. It was why he was talking too much. He tended to do that, he knew. Unfortunately, knowledge of a problem didn’t magically cure it. If it did, his life would be much easier and he wouldn’t be rattling on about decades he knew nothing about firsthand because he’d been asleep and Aziraphale couldn’t know he’d been asleep. If the angel noticed he was bullshitting, he didn’t let on. Didn’t really let on to anything. He’d been about silent since Crowley handed over the books and currently looked a bit like he might be sick as he clung to those same books.
