He wasnt really surprised he didnt have service but he was just glad he stumbled into the town. “Couple miles back. Not too far. Some rental car so fuck knows whats wrong with it.” Not like he learned anything about cars in prison. “Think you can give it a look over? Id be happy to pay you for it.”

There was something about the male that Billy couldnt quite put his finger on but he wasnt nervous about it. He had knives on him of course. “This town wasnt even on my GPS.”

“yeah, sure, no problem,” bo smiled. “my brother’s got a tow truck,” he said, nodding across the street to his brother who was sitting on the bench. “point him in the direction and he’ll get it back here.” there was something bo felt about this guy, too. and he wasn’t scared or nervous at all (which was unsual for folks bo dealt with). he was a bit intriguing.

“yeah, it’s real small. ever since the sugar mill shut down,” he gestured towards the old factory. “ain’t really nothin’ here, y’know? you hungry? diner’s shut down, but we got plenty t’eat. happy to make you a sandwich or somethin’ while you wait?” he offered.

"you won't," bo answers simply, wiping the sweat from his brow with his arm. "nearest cell tower's too far outta range. biggest complaint of the townsfolk yet," he smiled, tucking the rag he was using on the car into his back pocket as he stepped towards the older man.

"how far 'way's your car?" he smiles knowingly. it's the only reason anyone ever shows up in ambrose.
