Congratulations to everyone who won the Mark Leader elections. I have no doubts that all of those who were elected will be wonderful leaders. I’m looking forward to seeing where the elections lead. Does anyone have plans for the rest of the week, or anything big for the weekend?

A few things. One, let’s give a big ass round of applause for the dance team. You guys fuckin’ killed it out there. No surprise, had no doubts or whatever. But shit, you guys rocked it. And while we’re on the subject of rock- Two, let’s give another round of applause for Theo and Vic, for that cool fuckin’ show. Been a while since I got hype like that. 

Now that we’ve gotten that outta the way. What’s everyone been up to?

From the looks of things, we’re all super duper boring nowadays. Thanks for the congrats, it was fun. The concert was fun too. Time to figure out how to wake this campus up.

I’ve been spending most of my time in the mark-free zone, we’re kidding ourselves if we think this school hasn’t always needed a safe space. These spontaneous concerts are very tempting, applause for that too. I’ve still got a few of those songs stuck in my head.

Yes to all of the above, 100000000% Though I’ll disagree, you should perform. Anything I can do to get you on a stage, let me know. I’m surprised nobody has mentioned that you’re the infamous Starchild yet. 

Well that’s clearly quite the fun place to be, so I forgive you for not rolling out the welcome handsome.  A pleasure, Elliot. As in those who don’t wish to submit at all? 

Well… the urge to submit does have a range- so by that logic, there has to be someone who doesn’t wish to kneel for any reason. It’s a vaild, if difficult, postion to take when looking at the broader view of this world. Not an easy thing in this life to take.

Yes, and it gets me in trouble sometimes. I’m the type of person that falls in love fast and hard and sometimes for more than one person. My last relationship was poly with two people and I still ended up falling for a third person on.... three different occasions. Another thing I do is act spontaneously, so you can guess where that’s landed me. I try to be more thoughtful now. 

Anything from nothing to full fairy costumes. Depends on my mood and how tired I am. Currently in bed in a unicorn kigu aka onesie.

“You’ve got it, babe. Yea, it was fun. Cool times. I’m not like super cereal about it though, I just like to shake my ass. Last time I was here, I made and captained a dance club that was just for booty dancing. Stripper stuff, chair dancing, kpop too. So like hip hop, I guess. I don’t know what to call it.”

It’s been quiet for half a second, so you know someone was going to drop something. For those that don’t know me, my name is Ross Meeks and I’m an English noble. Our job as royals, nobles, and politicians is the make the world a better place and keep it functioning, so the students from the above families got together to chat things over. We’ve decided to do a few things, so here’s some explaining. 

A Safe Space - the mark-free zone

In order to foster a sense of safety and community, we’re going to open up a community room in the admin building, with all of the club rooms, the dance studio, and the art studio. In this room, there will be no titling. There will be no orders. There will be no marks. There will be no social status either, or politics. This safe space is about people, and all people are welcome. In order to make sure that happens and this space is best used, I will ask that that be followed. There will be tvs with movies, video game systems, food, books, places to relax, games, and whatever else you might imagine a clubhouse or community center might have. This room will be open 24/7 and anyone can use it. 

Inside the room, there will be lockers to put your stuff in, like a backpack or a sweater. There will also be care packages discreetly located in each locker too, and stored throughout the room, with aftercare kits, warm weather accessories, self care, and a random fun/luxury item. You can secretly take one from a locker or from anywhere else out in the open. You can take as many of these as you want too, they will be restocked daily. There will be other items in the room, labeled for people to take if they want too, like jackets and random fun items. Anyone that wants to leave gifts for the whole campus can leave them there, like knitting work or other stuff you’ve made in classes or clubs or you can donate items that you’ve bought new that you think other people might want. 

A Relaxing Spa 

There will be two of these, because the initial point of this for me was to make something where people could escape all pressures, which include marks and service because of how many different approaches there are and the unanswered need to be able to step aside and just avoid D/s for 5 minutes. Everyone needs a break, everyone needs a cool down. Some people live the lifestyle 24/7, but not everyone does and not everyone can handle that. However, a Submissive did bring up that they would love to be able to use the spa as a reason to serve without having to face the pressure of asking someone personally. So there will be a spa in a room that connects to the Safe Space in the admin building that will also be a mark-free zone. Anyone can serve there without the pressure of conforming to anything, so you can give someone a massage or help them get their facial ready without feeling like you have to title them and follow all mark decorum/respect/power exchange laws too. Then there will be a second spa in one of the meeting rooms inside Dalton where marks will continue to matter and those that choose to serve or patronize that spa can expect titles and submission from those working at the spa. All of the things you’d imagine would be in a spa will be in both locations.

When Elliott relaxed against him, Dave raised his arms to wrap around his boyfriend, his lips finding the other’s forehead to leave his own kiss there. “It’s okay, babe. It’s alright. I’ve got you.” He leand into Elliott when that kiss was placed on his cheek, squeezing his figure a little before relaxing again. “It’s the truth, El. I’m okay. This is okay. I know you do, and I love you for it. You’re always the biggest help I could ask for, and more than I deserve. Hey…I don’t want you to think like that, alright? It’s all okay. Things are tough right now for a lot of reasons, and there are more important things to focus on. Like how you’re doing with everything. I’m proud of you for stepping up, and for everything you’ve done for him lately. Him, and everyone else. You’re the best, you just keep adding to the list of reasons why. I’m sorry that I haven’t been as present as I should have been, to support you with everything. But I’m here, I’m always here, and I’m not going anywhere. I know. I know he will be. But you know what? That’s not what we’re going to focus on. We’re going to focus on you, and on me, and on us, and on having the best time possible, and on getting the most out of this possible. We’re going to focus on that. I’ll be there with you, and no matter what he wants to try and pull, we both know he’s not getting through me. He can’t touch you, baby. I promise you that.”

“Not more than you deserve, not at all. And I’ll do anything for you. I know you like that stuff. If kneeling is something you wanna do, you can do it. I dunno if I can offer to kneel for you to get the other half of your itch but we’ll figure something out. I’m not super opposed to sneaking stuff in during sex sometimes. You just said you don’t feel good, you’re tired and you’re head hurts. I just want you to know.” He kissed all over Dave’s face as the other man spoke. As much as he drove himself away from D/s, they both still had biological needs and he still very clearly had a need to help. “No, no. You’re perfect. I love you. You’re right. We’ll be okay. We’ll get through i. It’ll be good. We can stay away from him. And you’re right, nobody is getting through you. You’re my hero. You’ll keep me safe. I know you will. I do feel safe with you. I love you.”

I wanted to take a moment to say how grateful I am to everyone who has taken the time to respond to my discussion of my plans for the Mark Leader position, and everyone who took the time to participate in the Yoga Club Challenge. The support has been overwhelming, and I am so grateful to have so many people next to me on these journeys. I am a little behind on replies, but I promise I will get to everyone today! What you all have to say is important, and I promise to make sure that is recognized!

On top of everything else, I want to take a second to talk quickly and vaguely about a fun little event of my own I’m planning. I’m aiming for this weekend, if I can get everything pulled together in time. I’ve been working closely with our Headmistress on this for a couple of weeks, and am just about ready to roll out the event! I won’t go into too much detail right now, but expect a post a little later with details. I’m giving everyone fair warning that there will be parts that will call for partner work. So, if you’d like to sign up, go ahead and start considering who you’d like to ask to participate with you. If you can’t think of anyone, or don’t mind who you’re paired with, no worries! I’ll be happy to pair people up as needed! This event will center around yoga, meditation, relaxation, improving mental health, and furthering whatever journey you feel most inclined to work on right now! I could not be more excited, and I hope to see everyone there. Again, expect a more in-depth post a little later on!

I cannot believe I am the one to have to say this- truly, I am the most shocked out of anyone here. 

Let’s have a raw, honest talk about submission, and getting claimed actually means in the larger context of- well, everything. 

For submissives- submission isn’t one *thing*- We as dominants or in my case, potential dominants, do not truly get how to dictate how that submissiveness…choses to express it’s self. That’s why we have submissives who more than happy to do submit sexually or rather submit domestically. Or have various different limits when it comes to what exactly consitues to them as submission. It’s like…some big rainbow of submission with a thousand different flavours. Like a basken robbins of submission. I’m really mixing metaphors here.  Healthy communiation in what a submissive requires and wishes to have with you as a domminant is utterly required in this new world.  Some people are gonna be soley sexual submissives and some won’t be.  Some want that whole…white picket fence claim and others want to be fucked blind in the shower- some want a mix of the two. 

I’m not saying we’re throwing all the damn rules away but I am saying that hey- opening our ears and listening to the wants and desires of submissives on a individual level is utterly paramount. 

Just respect that-…every submissive is a god damn snowflake with they’re own needs and their own version of submission is. 

Just let them feel heard and seen. Things would be a lot more smoother around here. ​

Dave shrugged, though before he could say much of anything else, Elliott had shifted into something he hadn’t seen over the course of their nearly 5 month relationship. His boyfriend’s tone took him aback, and while everything in him screamed that he should obey, that he should kneel, that he should do exactly what he was told to do, he forced himself to hold back. Eyebrows furrowing, Dave stepped forward, holding his hands out to reach for his boyfriend. “El…No. Stop. Please.” A pained look crossed his face, his eyes pleading as he crossed the distance between them. “This isn’t you. That isn’t you. I know it’s not. In fact, it’s so far from you, it’s almost uncomfortable.” Dave shook his head, placing one of his hands on Elliott’s shoulder. “I know I managed to make you feel like this is what you had to do. Wat you had to ay, and how you had to be. But please…Don’t. I’ll talk to you. I’m just tired. My body feel s a little heavy, and I’ve got a headache. That’s all. I’ll take something, and I’ll be okay. Other than that, everything is great. I love you, I loved spending the day with you. I can’t wait to sped the day with you tomorrow too. Now, will you tell me what you’re feeling?”

Tension rose within Elliott as he tried to settle with what he was intending to try to do. Then Dave came in closer and touched him, imploring him to not betray himself like that and that was all that it took for him to buckle because as tough and strong as he could be this was one area that he had no strength. He let out a long breath and rested against Dave, holding his boyfriend as he closed his eyes with his head against the other man’s chest. When all was said and done, he took a few breaths and leaned up to kiss the other man’s cheek. “I hope that’s the truth. Let me know what I can do. I just wanna help. I know that there are a zillion reasons to think about all of the stuff I don’t do lately. I’m okay. I love supporting my brother but also I can’t wait for this to be over. All the stuff happening on campus is just offputting. You know who else will be down there.”

Of course Dave hadn’t been foolish enough to believe Elliott would fall for what he was doing. Still, his own anxiety prevented him from doing anything else. Sighing, his face dropped along with his shoulders, and he let out a quick breath before responding. “No, I guess not. Maybe. I don’t know. I’m sorry, El. I’m just not feeling the best right now. I’m alright though, babe. And I really do want to know how you’re feeling. Will you talk to me?”

“But it did snap you outta that.” Elliott had always hated the marks and now he was beyond traumatized with no work done to help him through what he’d gone through and his worst bully actively poking him and anyone else that looked meek on top of largely public punishments, but it was easy for the Anderson to read between the lines in what Dave said and didn’t say. His gentle approach forgone, he stepped back and clasped his hands behind his back. “Come on. Kneel. What do you mean, not feeling the best? We’ll talk about me after you because I’m fine and you look like your cat ran away. So don’t make me order you twice.” He hated the harshness too but that’s what most people seemed to want and do and it was definitely what he was used to. Besides, Dave had said maybe to the harsh way he’d worded things before so harsh was likely what he wanted. “I can’t do anything if you won’t tell me anything.”
