peter is very aware of his flaws and it doesn’t matter how much good he does, he’ll never be satisfied with himself. he’ll always want to do more. he’ll always feel like the people who are close to him will get hurt eventually. he’ll always believe that he’s not good in a relationship. he’ll always feel guilty for every action he takes

he is awkward, especially around new people and women, but he’s not totally inept. he knows how one should behave in certain scenarios. it’s just that often he gets overwhelmed and nervous and ends up being a bit of a doof. especially with his powers, he’s learning how to keep his cool and even can be a pretty smooth operator at times. he does not need to be babied.

additionally, he is a genius as well but he’s more than just book smart. he likes his indie music, bad horror and scifi movies of course but he doesn’t live under a rock. he is very world smart and his tastes are wide. don’t think this boy doesn’t get down to ari.ana gr.ande or rock classics or doesn’t enjoy a trashy action film.

his ideal date is honestly hanging out at his or his date’s home and watching movies, eating take out.

his favorite take out is pizza and it doesn’t even have to good pizza. the greasier it is, the better. he’s never worried about his health and eating habits.

that being said, despite how absent i’ve been. this blog is still active so HELLO again. i am here. 

   this isn’t the life she’d imagined, honestly. none of it was. she’d    thought she’d be an assistant forever and that she’d just have a    quiet life. felicia never imagined that she’d be running oscorp in    her twenties. moreso, she never imagined that she’d be any good    at it. but, honestly? she’s fairly certain that without her… harry’d    be floundering. he had skills. he knew what he was doing. but, he    needed someone to keep him in line.

   and her? her head was somewhere between oscorp and falling for    her boss and it was a complete mess. a mess that she wasn’t sure    how to fix. a mess that she didn’t even want to say outloud because    that made it real. and she wasn’t ready for it to be real.

   “oh… it’s very harry. tell him he can’t save oscorp and he manages    to double profits in a month.” she’s proud of him. more proud of him    than she says, but boy does she show it. she looks up at peter with a    smile and gives him a nod. “i just wish norman could see it.”     

       “ i don’t. ” he regrets it as soon as he says it & he gapes for a moment          before giving felicia a look that he hopes portrays just how stupid he          knows that was to say — but he still means it. he’s only sorry because          the senior osborn’s death is still a fresh topic & it was in bad taste for          him to say that. he sighs at himself & shakes his head.

       “ i — i’m sorry. ” he massages at the back of his own neck awkwardly          as he tries to amend the situation. this is really not the time to          offend harry’s personal assistant no matter how much the mention          of norman osborn sets him off. he has reasons of his own to hate          harry’s late father & then on top of it, he witnessed first hand the          abuse his childhood friend had to endure.

he has to pull the beer away from his lips upon hearing the question, matt doing everything he can not to spit the drink out in laughter and almost chokes on it instead. managing to swallow, he lifts his head in the direction that peter’s standing, showing that he can indeed ‘see’ where he is in his own way. “ yeah, no, not really, pete, ” he informs him, a chuckle in his tone as he smiles at the other. “ unless you want to explain to everyone how you lost hide and seek to a blind man. ”

            nah, he’s got this. 

                      “ i’ll take you to the candy shop,                         boy, one taste of what i’ve got – “

        he watches his friend with vague amusement.          peter is way too committed to his goody-two-          shoes teacher’s pet thing. but harry could fix          that.

         “ then skip. it’s your birthday. “

          it’s true & the offer is conflicting. he looks           away & looks at his friend from the corner           of his eyes as a grin begins to pull at his lips.           it is his birthday... he nods repeatedly.

Why Did I Follow Them?: i watched haley from my shy corner back when specixlprojects was a thing & i think i even followed her then? but we never wrote together since i didn’t have a canon character at the time but i’ve always loved felicia. she’s just such a strong female character & then we were finally brought together by the lovely @prodiigus

What I Think About The Mun: see above for a bit. flay is wonderful. she’s super nice & is very serious about her writing— & by serious i mean that she always strives for perfection in her art not that she’s not also a total silly nerd. i could write a novel about how much i love her. everyone should check her out. seriously.

Overall Opinion: A+++ human being. if you have the chance to write with her, take it. you won’t regret it.

   laureline eyes the alleyway, hand hovering over her gun as    she creeps along the shadows. she’d been chasing a rogue    bagoulin for galaxies now. it shouldn’t have been any surprise    that it would have found its way to earth. she should have thought    about it to begin with. it could hide, blend in. the sheer amount    of beings in new york city alone was enough to jam her tracker    long enough for it to get away if she wasn’t careful.

   and she was careful. she wasn’t about to let an alien mercenary    reek havoc here. leaving it here would change everything. the earth    wasn’t set to find out about other aliens for another several years…    and it was supposed to be peaceful. throwing this thing at them would    screw everything up. 

              everything.

   she could hear something shifting, rustling, near a dumpster. fingers    tightened around her gun and she took several quiet steps towards the    sound, drawing her gun as slowly as possible. she didn’t want this to    turn into a firefight… but she wouldn’t hesitate if she needed to shoot.

   “don’t you dare move. by order of the galactic empire, you’re under    arrest.” she wheeled around the corner, gun leveling with a brunette. blue    eyes widened and she quickly lowered the weapon but didn’t put it away.    her voice slipped to something resembling apologetic, but with a bite to it.    “you shouldn’t be here.”       

he had glimpsed something strange on his usual swing by the area but he honestly wasn’t that surprised. after a friend of your father’s turns into a giant lizard & then proceeds to try to turn the entirety of new york also into lizards — not to mention electrified men, larger- than-life suits of armor operated by criminal lunatics — you tend to start expecting anything.

that being said, what he had seen was edging past the mutant humanoid he had more experience seeing. he was both excited by something new for once & concerned.

instead of being the seasoned spider-man he really should be by now, he got caught up in his excitement & ended up taking a corner too sharp, landing himself in a dumpster. yes, this was the glamorous superhero lifestyle he’d always dreamed of. shortly after he manages to pull himself out of the trash & yanking off the mask to breath fresh air, his senses ping. someone is coming up the alley. he stays still hoping the bystander will simply move on with nothing to immediately see but they don’t & peter is too cornered to move. he braces for the inevitable.
