The Mentopolis cast is truly and genuinely one of the best of any D20 season, and I knew that from the moment Siobhan, Trapp, Danielle, Hank, and Freddie showed up in the trailer. But if there’s one thing I need to thank Brennan and the casting crew for, it’s introducing me to fucking Alex Song-Xia. They are literally the player of all time. They’re the heart of the season. Their character Conrad is the saddest child in the world, while carrying more power than any other pc. Their favorite number is 57 because it’s the number of Heinz varieties. Their face crumbled whenever anything bad happened to their friends in the game. They told us our self-loathing was seen and accepted as a part of us. They said we need every part of us. I love them.
