Google Earth Images Are Transformed Into Stunning Landscape Photographs by Meike Nixdorf

German artist Meike Nixdorf’s newest project entitled Your Earth Transforms features some the most stunning digitally enhanced Google Earth screenshots. The digital transformation serves to demonstrate the beauty, rugged texture and three-dimension of the mountainous terrains in our planet. To enhance the images’ natural colors and texture, she was assisted by the retoucher Grit Hackenberg. The purpose of the project is to remind us that even nature’s strongest contenders are constantly changed through its surroundings and climate..
