Soy mamá de un niño de 20 meses ahora. Desde hace 8 meses que me regresé de Colorado, pues me di cuenta de que mi esposo no fue tan leal a mí como me lo había jurado.

Estoy feliz de haber vuelto a casa pues puedo hacer ejercicio y pedalear con mis amigos, cosa que no hacía en Colorado.

Quiero ser una idol para mi hijo.

I have been a Cuentacuentos for Lucha Libro on Children’s day at the Arvada Public Library for 2018 and 2019. Currently,  aI am a Family & School liaison for a Dual Language School. 

Due COVID-19, many projects have been cancelled, such as: Música y Teatro (for preschoolers and kindergartners) and Lucha Libro. 

This year has been a total wreck. But oh well, we have to be extremely grateful for remaining alive.

News:

I will be creating a second blog, which I will link to my main blog. This second blog is going to be entirely in Spanish and is about learning materials for toddlers, the stories I love from books I love, and some graphic novels.

Goals:

-Work a curriculum for a Biliteracy Comic Book Club (Collaborate with Pop Culture Classroom ??).

-Get more gigs as a translator.

-Create a greater demand for Spanish comic books and learning materials.

-Pursue any degree in Japan.

This is me. I am Lady Tesla sometimes. Sometimes I am Ana... sometimes Irene.

I am just a mexican woman in her 30s refusing to give up at pop culture, at heavy metal, at pink.

I am married. Happily married. My husband embraces my silliness and my over loads of joy. He is a charming gringo. 

We went through so much in our relationship. I am deeply amazed we are together and married.

I moved back to Colorado last summer (2017) after Nic proposed to me during the second day of Denver Comic Con, and we got married in August 7th. I promise to share pictures of his proposal one day. 

Currently, I am a Paraprofessional Special Ed. Tutor at a very lovely High School. I do love my job even though it is not always honey over oats. Anyways, I am extremely happy for having a job. Being a tutor is so fun.

My main goal is to become a Spanish or an ESL teacher. I want to have a job where I can be myself, share knowledge, having the enough capital to meet our families often throughout the year. Familia is everything to me.

Other goals consist of traveling to Mexico and to Japan together. We would love to teach in Japan someday.

Anyways, that was too much test in my tumblr. Til next time then.

I finally made it happen. I was enrolled into a 6 week challenge in which I had to lose 25 pounds. I only lost 23 instead. 

However, I committed myself to become a Lucha Libre hostess for Children’s day at the Arvada Public Library.

That day was the very best of my life.

I got a professionally custom made mask for my character: Lady Tesla.
