He glanced down at her hand on his leg before covering it with his own. “I don’t expect you to say anything, Sarah. How could I? It took us a little bit to get to that point, it’ll take some time again— assuming you even still want to. Either way, I understand. Having five years of your life erased is a hell of a thing to go through. And just so we’re clear, I don’t expect anything from you, okay? I just wanted to make sure you were alright, and clear the air. I haven’t said a word to anyone about any of this, not even Alex,” he paused, shaking his head.

"I just want you to be happy, wherever that path leads you, I’ll support your decisions one hundred percent. You got a hell of a head on your shoulders, Walker," he smiled. Pausing for a moment, thumb idly rubbing the back of Sarah’s hand, he stared at the floor. He huffed a small laugh. "You’d think it’d be easy— starting over… but I’ve never lied to you and I’m not about to now. This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I couldn’t contact you… I don’t know how to start over with this." His eyes turned to meet hers as he spoke the last few words. "So you just… just tell me what you want me to do and I’ll do it, even if that means leaving you behind for good. Gimme an order, Walker."

Her hand stayed where it was then, squeezing lightly without thought. Regardless of everything else that was going on, she felt right here. Like she could finally relax. And his words were just helping her to remember that here, he didn’t expect anything. Even as he said that, a smile crept upon her face for a brief moment. It was almost relaxing to know that he hadn’t said a word about them, that instead of expecting her to be someone else, he wanted her to be her.

“I don’t know what will make me happen anymore, Casey.” Her lips twisted into half a smile then when he spoke of supporting her no matter what. Her body relaxed slightly at his touch, her own eyes lowered to the floor as a chuckle escaped at the starting over comment. “No, it’s not easy at all. Everything is more complicated then It probably was before.” Her eyes met his then at the next part, biting the inside of her cheek for a moment before her own words escaped. “Don’t go. I don’t want you to go.” A pause and then she spoke again. “Even though I don’t remember everything, or hell anything pretty much, I know that I don’t want to have you walk out of my life again, Casey.” It was a small admission, but it was the truth. “You don’t expect me to be anything other then what I am right now or hold me to the women I can’t remember. I..just don’t go.”

A smile appeared at those words, her eyes closing once his lips grazed over her neck. "Are you sure? Because I love you far too much I think." Lips pressing against his then, she smiled slightly.
