Government facility! Again! It's meant to be disguised as an old WW2 military base in the rolling hills of England that now supposedly just houses weather monitoring equipment and offers friendly tours to the public.

... And then there's the secret passage(s) that lead down... down. I'm still working on B1 and B2, but here's screenshots of B3 and B4 to give you perspective on how enormous this facility will be.

Awwww, thank you!!!!! <3 <3 <3 Honestly I needed to hear this, I've been pretty down about the state of the world today in particular. It's really, really heartwarming to hear from people that the building of stuff brings them joy too.

As a note, I'm currently in the planning stages for Maritime Museum Part 2 & Part 3.

I hope this particular set of images helps y'all understand why a lot of historical interiors were so eye-searingly bright and, in part, why they began to darken considerably during the Victorian era - or, during the era of gas and electric lighting.

The reason is very simple: Brighter colors reflect candle, fire, and sunlight MUCH better.

Once fuel became somewhat cheaper before being gradually replaced by electricity, lighting became much more abundant - and arguably safer.

Dark woods and deeper shades look much better in lower (compared to modern lighting) and consistent light sources.

It's a HEAVILY remodeled version of a shell build from the Gallery. I wanted to take FULL advantage of the 64x64 lot to give the estate a sprawling feel.
