04/06/2021 || Woke up bright and early because my mom left her phone at home, so I dropped it off to her at work. Now I'm aggressively working on SPROJ before therapy. Last week we didn't meet, so I'm excited to potentially have more progress with handling academic and personal stuff.

Made a start on analysing my data for my dissertation and I'm already seeing some initial agreement for my hypothesis which is exciting!

Today I was thinking about my progress as a person and as a student. And I’ve realized it hasn’t been easy. I don’t think things in life are supposed to be easy. Life is a challenge itself and we’re always trying our best to succeed. Most of the time, our motivation is the career we are pursuing and the things we’d like to do in the future. And we constantly think about our role models and the people who inspire us. And I came to the conclusion that we should be our own inspiration. After everything we’ve been through, the good, the bad, the success, the failure, the ups and downs... We should be proud of ourselves. ❀

Set myself up a standing desk today and it was so much more comfortable than sitting all day. I recently went to an asian supermarket and got red bean mochi as a treat, had it with an orange and some matcha to get me through a long to-do list!

We had the results for another online competition yesterday and I got 3 1st places, 1 2nd and 1 3rd place and I'm so happy! It's such a cold and grim day but that really cheered me up!
