We are a group of young and adventurous university friends. (Ammar, Sultan, Liam, Hannah, and Emily). We decided to go on a camping trip which was organized by an organization. It was a spring evening six pm-ish, the sun was about to set. Amazing weather not so cold nor hot. We set up our tents and prepared what was required. We decided to go to this grocery store, which was operated by the same organizer and get some late-night snacks. The store was a bit far from the camping site, but we didn't care, so we eventually went.
We finally reached our destination and went in, and we bought what was needed. Bear with me, I had zero romantic feelings towards my female friends. We came out of the store, Emily decided to tell a joke, and as she was saying it, she did this facial expression which melted my heart. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I suddenly OUT OF NOWHERE had a crush on Emily. That feeling I felt that evening was so extraordinary and unexpected but in a good way. So I guess it's true when they said, "the right person in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world."
Moreover, Sultan suggested that instead of heading back to the camping site, we should explore and see what was out there. Everyone agreed except Hannah, and I guess she wasn't in the mood. Hannah said, "You guys go and enjoy, ill head back." Then I decided not to go with them and head back with Hannah because I was confused with this feeling I had towards Emily, which suddenly came out of nowhere. Eventually, we separated, Hannah & I went back to the camping site, and Sultan, Liam, and Emily went and explored the area. As we were walking back, I decided to grab and hold Hannah's hand. She did this weird facial expression as if it was strange.Don't judge me I do this to all of my female friends I don't see it wrong or weird, I’m just trying to be friendly and be close with them, that's my personality and how I act. I decided to let out my feelings toward Emily. I said to Hannah, "Hannah, I know this might sound surprising and unexpected, but I think I have a crush on Emily. I don't get it for the past five months of my friendship with Emily, I didn't felt any romantic feeling toward her." She was astonished and shocked, and I kinda felt that she got somewhat sad, but at the moment, I didn't really thought about it. We had this long and deep conversation, and to be frankly honest, it felt terrific, and I knew that she was a close friend that I can trust. We reached the camping site, sat around the camping fire, and waited for the rest to be back. We ate dinner, played some games, and usually do whatever a group of friends typically do on a camping trip. I have to admit I could take my eyes of Emily.....You should have seen her the way she was smiling, the way she glanced her eyes off me. Ughhhhh, why god why now!!!! End of the day we said good night to each other and went back to our tents. I went to this situation where I was overthinking on what happened and why did it happen. I came to a conclusion, and I was shocked. You would never believe what I have realized. Holy mother of Jesuses, HANNAH HAS A CRUSH ON ME!!!!!! No wonder she was acting that way when I confessed my feelings toward Emily and how she was acting weird when I grabbed her hands while walking back to our camp.Â
