Sacrifice Yourself For Me

             Grubbs lets out a low, heavy wuff of air, waiting for a reaction. The gun catches his attention, sending a bolt of apprehension down his spine on behalf of his pack. They can’t heal themselves the way he can, and he doesn’t want them or any unassuming hunters to come to harm. He grins, the sight rather gruesome, and lets out a bark that only has a passing resemblance to laughter. He can appreciate the attitude.

“Takes one to know one buddy.”

         The dog bro thing is still there, but now they’re staring at each other. Mal can’t tell if he’s currently high or this could be a really crazy dream. He’s not entirely sure, only that he doesn’t remember take any drugs and the dead rabbit feels a lot heavier than dead dream rabbits usually do. The creature grins, but Mal isn’t exactly put off by the monstrous smile or the weird half laugh.

The chains binding him were definitely of Grisha make, Aleksander noted, frowning slightly at how they kept him from summoning his power. David had been working, more than likely, and while normally that was always worth his thought, this wasn’t a development that pleased the one-time Darkling. And not just because not using his power was making him feel something closer to his actual age.

Still, it allowed the weakest of the group to be the one left to guard him.

Insulting, really.

              ”So, tracker, it seemed you drew the short stick in having to guard me.” Forcing a smirk, anything to hide his distaste at the situation, Aleksander looked up at the otkazat’sya standing nearby where he sat. “Or is this some ploy to impress our favorite Saint?”

Even his scowl is truly magnificent. Just look at him, with his gorgeous locks and beautiful eyes and winning smile, he is an absolute treasure. The only one that might just rival his beauty is Alina with her blonde hair like sunshine and blue eyes deeper than the sea. And that treacherous smile that she had flashed at him that landed him here. Guarding the once great Darkling who now looked pretty weak and pathetic. With his inability to use his powers, it is smart, Mal guessed, for the strongest of the group to guard him, for he is clearly physically superior.

So! Things are about to get crazy with school so here’s the deal with blogs (Bolded is how it applies to this blog):

Killercoffeeaddict replies will be regularish. This means replies will get done about the same as now aka no real major activity change. I will notify people if this changes.

Fire-and-frost replies will also be regularish. No major activity change there.

Amplifiedtracker replies will be rare. One, I rarely have Mal muse and two, I don’t have all the time to keep up on him. So, it’ll happen, just very very slowly.

Kniiivesdrawn will be medium to low activity depending on my mood and availability. Replies might become low, we’ll see how things go.

Wildjustice will have sporadic reblogs as I do drafts every couple of weeks. I don’t have a lot of threads there, so they’ll all come out at once when I get there.

     Bloody hell.

     It’s the only thought running through Grubbs’ mind as he stares at the man, ears twitching warily. He’s quite the sight, caught half way between his wolf and human form and covered in blood from the pack’s most recent kill. He lets out a low sigh, the sound whistling through razor teeth. Not sure what else to say, he draws himself up to his full (and considerable) height before summoning the most deadpan voice he can muster.

     “Woof.”

     What the hell?

             Mal is dumbstruck, completely taken aback by the half man half wolf dude... thing before him. There’s a gun slung over his shoulder and a bloody rabbit he’s holding by the ears. Even confused, he’s looking pretty, in his opinion of course. ( But then again, if you asked him, he’s always pretty. )
