“Sweet, I’m in!” Mickey said quietly to himself as the doors to the lab whooshed open. Unlike most labs on campus, this one was locked and unavailable unless you were working with one of the tenured science professors or the school’s scientist-in-residence. It was a pod-like device, large enough to fit most humans. There were a number of sticky notes on the machine itself, and documents scattered on the floor in front of it.
