Giggling at the clueless Clovis defenders that were mad pressed about Queenâs Shadow shedding more light on Clovis and PadmĂ©âs history and it basically confirming that there was never a romantic relationship between the two cause it was all misunderstood from Clovisâ creepy perspective, and how they complain about their non-relationship being âretconnedâ as if Catherine Taber didnât confirm that there was never at any point a âromanceâ between the two in 2016 on Coffee With Kenobi episode 25 before the book even came out.
They can run the arguments all they want that the framing of the Clovis episodes talk about Clovis and PadmĂ©âs past as if to imply that they had a âromantic relationshipâ but itâs never actually stated or confirmed. (which is done on purpose.) PadmĂ© and Clovis are always referred to by other characters as âold/close friendsâ in the show and even Clovis says the same, lmao. The show purposefully misleads the audience with the framing so that they too could fall for the same narrative Anakin does which led him into thinking there was some relationship but there never actually was. This is unnecessarily done specifically in favour to underline Anakinâs jealousy and eventual fall to the dark side.
(Anakin is famously known for being an unreliable narrator at certain points of the story, which was the clear indication during these episodes.)
But the Queenâs trilogy is all in PadmĂ©âs POV, and she makes it quite clear there wasnât anything there.
Accept the facts and move on, loves.
Even EKJ the author to the canon Queenâs trilogy literally says:
