Unpopular opinion: I feel like Discord has made Mweor even more closed off from everything, the site and Tumblr are basically dead, and unless you're in the Discords you don't know anything going on.

I do think the site should be updated with information just as much as you’d be able to get on discord. It’s nice to have a central hub to ask questions and get answers quickly, but unless you’re there to see it the confusion lingers. There shouldn’t be any new information revealed on discord that wouldn’t also be included in a news post.

Shout out to Az who has taken the Auction House to heights I don't think anyone else could have done. He really stepped up and has done wonderful things to make it into a fantastic to talk, and a place everyone seems to feel comfortable.

I’m gonna tack on they have a lot of callout posts circling tumblr for generally being a pos and have remade their blog several times in the last few years because of it. They also have defended pedophiles, called underage anime girls sexy, are generally transmisogynistic and Asian fetishy. I doubt any improvement they’ve said they’ve made and I would advise anyone to stay away.

The babying of mweor staff is NUTS. Business is cutthroat. If you cannot handle negativity and criticism you CANNOT have a public facing job like Mweor staff does - you just can't. I'm not sure I could handle it either, it's not a shade to any staff that feels disheartened, it's just the nature of the work. You're always going to be expected to keep improving and tweaking based on what people want. You need to accept that someone is always going to be unhappy. If you need everyone to tell you how perfect and precious you and everything you create is to do your job, then it's selfish to hold that role captive when someone who will do their job regardless of back pats could take your place.

A huge problem that I have been noticing and also a few others is that lately the players feelings and opinions on site changes mean nothing at all. Our opinions are worth less because we aren’t staff, even though it’s quite a few players that have been here for over a decade and know the ins and outs of the site like the back of their hands. I’ve seen it from several staff and ex staff almost to an unprofessional level.

When will mweorians learn that maybe the reason they get lack luster effort from staff is because the community has killed the game for them? I wouldn't lift a finger to do anything for this ungrateful bunch of people. :|
