would you sleep with matty?
Well, let’s see.. I only just met him. He seems.. interesting.
@Matty
It was late, or early, depending on the way you looked at it. Amelia had been tossing and turning all night. Sleep just wasn’t happening for her at the moment so she decided she would take a shower. She rolled out of bed and stumbled her way down the hall to the wash room. She hopped into a quick shower then wrapped her hair in a towel and put on her robe. It was nearly 5 in the morning and she was wide awake. She walked over and sat on the couch. She scrolled through the channels on the tele until she found something to watch. She was awake for only a half hour before she dozed off to the sound of the tele. When she awoke, the sun had just risen and shined through her apartment window.Â
Amelia thought it would be a good day for a run. The sun was shining and the sky had few clouds. Also, it was about time she got out and exercised. She proceeded to her room and put on a pair of shorts with a jacket and her running shoes. She pulled her hair back in a quick pony tail and grabbed her ipod as she left her flat, locking the door behind her. She put her headphones in and shuffled her playlist as she started with a steady jog.Â
Amelia ran a few miles when she thought it was about time for a quick breather. She slowed up and took a seat on a bench close by. She reached into her bag for her water bottle and took a sip. With her music still playing through her head, she almost didn’t realize that the bench was already occupied by another being.Â
The five o’clock dawn was bit more pain-in-the-ass than usual. Matty yawned his muscles awake, watching as the sky shifted hue. After a night of aimless trotting, he retired on a bench somewhere….. somewhere west of is home. Somewhere with the cafe around it’s first corner; the district’s name couldn’t bring itself to Matty’s groggy mind. All fine tough, a shot of black and he’ll know is place. Still, the hour for coffee and croissants was yet to come. Matty shrugged and straightened himself, while a lone jogger took residence at the foot of the bench. She was a bother, though her pop-rock fanfare was a few pitches too loud for the morning. The sound irritated him. He moved over to tap her shoulder lightly. The gesture startled her, but succeeded in removing her headphones.
“Loud. 100 decibels and there’s permanent ear damage. One day you may not get to hear the fat bitch sing. Is that how you want to live your life?”
Amelia was then startled by a tap on her shoulder. She took out one ear bud and turned to the person. “Loud. 100 decibels and there’s permanent ear damage. One day you may not get to hear the fat bitch sing. Is that how you want to live your life?” she paused her music, “Sorry, didn’t realize it was so loud.” In fact, she didn’t think it was loud at all. But the bloke looked a bit out of it, like he hasn’t been home yet to sleep.  ”Have you had a rough night?” she asked with a grin even though she was sure she already knew the answer. “Names Amelia, by the way.” Then, all of a sudden, Amelia struck an idea. With the little sleep that she had, and clearly the same for Matty, she thought some coffee would be a great pick-me-up for them both. “Say, you want to go grab a coffee? I think there’s a cafe just around the corner. My treat.” she smiled as she waited for his response. She didn’t expect him to want to join her. After all, she didn’t make a very good first impression with her loud, annoying music. But it was worth a shot, she was getting coffee with or without him either way.
Coffee. It had been his plan all along. He didn’t think that it’d be free, though. My treat. How generous! Or maybe he just looked like he needed it? People often mistook his scruffiness for poverty.
“Alright, you seem apologetic enough. Well then, after you?”
The cafe was beginning it’s morning rituals, setting out scones and drawing teabags. The air was delectable, just as it should be. Just as it always was. He ordered a black chai and a jelly filled pastry. Her treat, she’d said, but he paid his fee anyway.
“Matty, 19, Bristol. You?”
They walked just around the corner to the cafe, not many customers at this hour. She ordered tea and a pastry. Just as she was to place her money down for the both of them, he had paid his fee already. She placed gave the change just for her order then.Â
Amelia thought it rather interesting that he was the same age as her.Â
"Nineteen, Edinburgh. Moved here last year, looks like this is my home now." she showed a half-smile and gripped her mug before she took a sip. "So, what has kept you up this early in the morning?" she asked to keep the conversation going. She then broke off a piece of her pastry and ate it.Â
Sorry for leaving people in limbo, it has been a crazy weekend. i'll have my replies by the morning, late morning.Â

ameliamcgregor:
Connor and Effy left the pub and headed towards a good time, they went (a bit late) to that party that was already a big hit. Weed in hand and Effy next to him, both entered the place filled with party goers, the usual scene for a Bristol night, though this time, the music was a mix of awesome with girly. At least it wasn’t all dubstep.
As soon as they went inside, they parted ways. Connor hurried to find the bar to grab a red cup, poured something with whatever and drank it all at once. The few past days were exhausting for him, a party like this one was exactly what he needed. He tapped his feet to the rythm of the music and decided to take a walk, maybe found someone he knew, catch up a little and maybe dance. In fact, all he could think of was the two most important blokes in his life at the moment. Theo and Ollie. Getting drunk seemed to be the only way he found to ignored them both. Ollie was still MIA, wich was worrying because that meant Theo was still close.Â
Moments later his sight was a little blurry and when he saw Emily with a blond girl, the back of Effy’s head and who he thought it could be the petit Franky, he also saw his former mate and ex-con, Theo. Immediately his heart jumped. Luckily his reaction was to turn around and look for the way out. “Quick, hide me!” he whispered to someone, grabbing the person’s shoulders trying to hide as he walked backwards towards the door. He wondered why was he still so scared of the bloke but also, he knew he wasn’t ready to a second round with him, less ruinning someone  else’s party.
Amelia had finished serving her last table and she collected her tips for the night. She grabbed her bag and her jacket when she heard a few blokes around the pub mention a party not far from here. She could use a little fun, the past week has been work non-stop. She decided she could use a break and crash the party. She pulled her bag over her shoulder and walked down the street. She followed the beat of the music as it rumbled through the streets. The music had gotten louder, she knew she was close. She walked up to the place and walked right in the door. She headed straight toward the bar and grabbed herself a drink. Then, she stood off to the side and watched the party happen around her. She took a sip of her drink and leaned against the wall.
Amelia watched as more and more people came and went, and she was on her third drink about now. So far, nothing too exciting has been happening. That was until she was startled by some random freaking out or something. “What’s this all about?” she asked with a friendly chuckle. “Are you alright?” the young bloke learned scared over something or someone. The first thought that came to her mind was if he was trippin’ on something and if so, she wanted some of that shit. “Names Amelia, and who are you?” she thought an introduction was in order, after all he was the one that hid behind her.Â
“Connor” he whispered as he looked up to the cute girl he was using as a barricade or something “Yes, i’m fine” he hurried “Don’t wannt run into a… an ex.” he said, it wasn’t a lite, Theo was an former mate so he only hid the complete truth. He knew he needed semp help, a tall and kind of akward bloke like him wasn’t one to mix well with people, he always stood out. Even more with bruises on his face. peaked back at the party he realised it was time to move, Theo was out sight but he was known for being more of a ghost, he could appear out of nowhere in any second. Feeling a bit uncomfortable for using the girl he coulnd’t just let her go so easily, at least she seemed cool enough not to think this was too weird, hopefully. “Would you help me?” he asked, getting more anxious by the second. He could feel the cold sweat tears falling down his face. If the blond bloke found Connor there, anything could happen. Anything bad. Theo appeared again, the bloke was probably tripping by now so that was an advantage. “promise to buy you a pint or a burguer if you help me out!”
Amelia could feel that Conner was bothered by something. He mentioned it being an ex. She knew how he must be feeling at the moment, since Amelia had gone through similar situations in the past years. “Would you help me? She wasn’t the type of person to turn down someone asking for help, she had a good heart that way. She finished off her drink in a few huge gulps, then set her empty cup down on the table. “Yeah, alright. I always like to help out.” she smiled. “What is it you need me to do?” Amelia was prepared for anything he would ask, except for a blow job. She wasn’t nearly drunk/high enough for that, although he looked like a decent bloke. Maybe a little rough around the edges, but he seemed nice enough that it didn’t even care. She then followed along with Connors lead as he told her the plan for what he wanted her to do.Â
“What is it you need me to do?” she asked and a second later Connor saw Theo turning around, his only reaction was to grab Amelia’s face and land a kiss on the lips. Luckily it worked the older bloke was definitely drugged so there was no way he would realise it was Connor right away. “C’mon!” he said and grabbed Amelia’s hand to scape the place, hunching as much as he could to hide. Soon enough they found the door and went outside, the chilly night welcomed them and still hurrying out of the party Connor didn’t say a word until they reached for a bench somewhere a couple of blocks away. He was really embarrassed for what he did, taking his box of cigarrettes to offer the blond girl one. He lit up one for himself and shook his head. He was so scared of Theo, he didn’t care what the girl was thinking, all it mattered was they got out without causing a scene. “Sorry, I wasn’t thinking” he said nervously, in the worse case scenario a slap was coming his way.
Amelia was caught off guard with what Connor had done next. He had grabbed her and gave her a kiss right on the lips. She didn’t know what to do, it all happened in one quick movement before he pulled her outside. This night was not what she was expecting, really, she was confused. They found a seat a few blocks down. She reached for the cigarette as it was offered to her. “Thanks.” she put it between her lips, “Got a light?” she reached for the lighter and lit up. There was a brief moment of silence as the awkwardness was in the air. “Sorry, I wasn’t thinking” She looked over at him as she took a drag. He looked sort of nervous about something, or maybe sort of embarrassed maybe. “Don’t worry about it,” she smiled. His kissing actually wasn’t half better, it was rather good. He was well fit as well. Attractive in a way. But why did it look like something else was going on with him, besides kissing a stranger. She wanted to know what was up, and what better way to find out answers by asking questions. “So, are you going to tell me what that was about now, or..” she paused and took another drag from her cig.Â
She asked a more than valid question,  but how could he just spill the whole story to a the girl he just met? There was no way “I told you… run into my crazy ex and wasn’t up for the shit that was coming.” he shrugged “didn’t wanna make a scene…” he took a couple of pulls filling his lungs with smoke, peaking to the party house (though it was a couple of blocks away and out of sight). “Shit sorry,” he looked at her with concern, he really didn’t want to go back there, but Connor knew if she had mates there, he would end up walking her back. He felt fucked. “your friends must be worried.” he didn’t see her with anyone in particular but then again he just grabbed her without thinking. He didn’t want to leave her, if Theo jumped out of nowhere he could use a witness with him. She was cool enough not to slap him for his kiss nor thinking too much out of it “C’mon, let’s find a pub. Are you hungry?” he asked, the least he could do was to invite her a some fries or a burger if she was hungry, or maybe just a pint. Suddenly Connor knew the night wasn¡t over, Amelia provided him with the possibility of still found fun. He knew where Theo was so, why worry?
“Oh, right” Amelia didn’t want to bring it up again. “your friends must be worried.” she took another drag and looked down. “didn’t come with any friends, on my own tonight.” she looked over at him and gave a half smile. “C’mon, let’s find a pub. Are you hungry?” she was feeling rather hungry, “I could go for a burger.” she smiled and stomped her cigarette to the pavement and got up from the bench. She reached out for his hand and waited for him to grab on. The pair walked along the street, exchanging small talk to eliminate any awkwardness. Soon after they approached the closest pub open at the time of night They walked in and sat down at a table close to the door. Amelia looked over the menu, even though she knew what she wanted. The waitress walked over, “What can I get you?” she asked. Without hesitation Amelia replied, “Burger and chips, and 1 pint of lager, please.” she said with a smile and handed her menu to the waitress. “Have you been around Bristol long?” she asked. “I don’t think i’ve seen you around, but then again i’ve only been here a year.” she shrugged and took a sip of lager as it was brought to her. “Could we also have 2 shots?” she asked as the waitress passed by.Â
Connor grinned back at her and looked down surprised to find they hand tangled. He could also go for a burger, eating made the nerves go away. Soon they found a pub, sat next to the entrance and ordered “I’ll have the same, thanks.” and as soon as the waitress left, Amelia asked “Have you been around Bristol long? I don’t think i’ve seen you around, but then again i’ve only been here a year.” He wasn’t sure when exactly he left Young Offenders but it had been a year or so by then, he wasn’t going to bring that up but he managed to answer “Not really that long, been away for a couple of years then found myself here again” he said, he wasn’t the misterious type but talking about his criminal records out loud was like calling for Theo, and that was exactly why he took off from that party. Soon their orders were put in front of them and Amelia asked for two shots wich made Connor smile again, he liked her, she was.. ballsy. Connor took his shot glass and clanked to hers, then drank it. It burned his throat but he liked it. A burguer and getting pissed with better company than Theo was brilliant. The bloke felt exited, the night was definitely young and he was eager to know where it would take them to. “How old are you?” she seemed around his age but he was curious about her “how did you end up alone at a random party?” she could have asked the same to him, but he was a bloke. One that looked like the type pretty girls shouldn’t be hanging with.Â
Amelia continued to munch on her burger and chips as it was placed in front of her. “How old are you?” she took a gulp of her lager to wash the food down. “Just turned 19 last month” she said with a smile, “Heard about the party from a bloke i work with.” she did think it was rather odd for her to be at a party by herself, not knowing a single person there. She just wanted to get out for a change, try and have some fun, have a laugh. “Are we ready for another few shots?” she asked as she looked up at him. “Another round please, make this a double.” she demanded nicely at the waitress as she walked by. She planned to have fun tonight, let loose. The waitress brought back the shots, 2 each, and placed them in front of the pair. Amelia picked up the first one and nodded toward Connor before they both took back the first shot. Without hesitation, she quickly followed it with the second shot. As the burning feeling in her throat cleared she got up from her seat and left enough change on the table for their food. “come on, i need to get some fresh air.” she gestured for him to follow and they walked out of the pub. She turned to make sure he was still behind her, and she stumbled upon a grassy hill. She sat down on the bench around the small lake. “Sit,” she patted the seat next to her. That is when she remember she had been saving a spliff. She reached inside her pocket and pulled it out, “fancy one?” she smiled and  dangled it between her fingers.
Connor followed her lead and drank the two shots one after the other without hesitation, only needing a second to let the soreness on his throat go away. She told him she needed air and Connor thought he could use some too, soon they found a hill and she told him to sit, and so he did, like a little pup. She pulled a spliff out and a big smile instantly appeared on his face “Sure, why not?” he replied. He was starting to feel a little tipsy, and wile he figured what they could do why not have a smoke? Connor grabbed the spliff and took two pulls, not too short, not too long. He squished his mind trying to find something to say or do but his head was definitely fucked. Connor leaned back and rested on the grass staring at the starry sky, his arms crossed to help his head up a little, feeling like a lame character of a romantic comedy of sorts, though in reality it was a gay bloke sharing a spliff with a cool girl who probably was more fucked than he was. He needed a lead, a clue or something to make this night one to not forget “So…” he started with a cheeky grin passin the spliff back to it’s owner “have you ever raced on a trolley… a shopping car?” he asked raising a brow.Â
Amelia laid back on the grass and rested her head on her arm. “have you ever raced on a trolley… a shopping car?” She would be perfectly happy just lying there the rest of the night, on the hill. It was the perfect night after all, for being Bristol. "No, can't say I have." she replied with a smile as she reached for the spliff. She brought it to her lips and inhaled deeply. "Do you know where we could find one... a trolley?" she asked as she turned her head and handed the spliff back to Connor. As much as she just wanted to lie there on the hill, she also wanted to have an adventure, have some fun with her new mate. She needed more fun in her life after all and she couldn't think of anything else to do.Â
zacks gone.
Where has he gone to, back to middle-of-nowhere-Illinois?
ooc: I guess Amelia needs to find a new love interest... any takers?

"How old are you?" she took a gulp of her lager to wash the food down. "Just turned 19 last month" she said with a smile, "Heard about the party from a bloke i work with." she did think it was rather odd for her to be at a party by herself, not knowing a single person there. She just wanted to get out for a change, try and have some fun, have a laugh. "Are we ready for another few shots?" she asked as she looked up at him. "Another round please, make this a double." she demanded nicely at the waitress as she walked by. "come on, i need to get some fresh air." she gestured for him to follow and they walked out of the pub. She turned to make sure he was still behind her, and she stumbled upon a grassy hill. She sat down on the bench around the small lake. "Sit," she patted the seat next to her. That is when she remember she had been saving a spliff. She reached inside her pocket and pulled it out, "fancy one?" she smiled and  dangled it between her fingers.
