Mason huffed, crossing his arms against his chest as he rolled his eyes. The last thing he wanted to do was continue working and studying. âThatâs not exactly what I had in mind, yâknow,â he informed her, flashing her a playful glare, âI thought weâd talk about your day, what youâre up to lately, maybe if youâre free this weekend? That sort of thing, Dixon. None of this school mumbo jumbo. But hey, itâs a good thing you care so much about my grade! One of us has to.â
Amber glared at Mason, pushing the paper in front of him once again. "Well, as you know, lately I've been spending my time trying to get you to care about something other than whatever video game just came out, and my weekend will probably be spent right here if you don't get to work on this."
