Here are some of my favortie little stops around the neighborhood. As a woman who works in hospitality, fine dining and a bartender at that, I wouldn’t steer you wrong. 😉🍸

I may have things in mind, but I’m definitely just go with the flow & then I can see what jumps out at me at the time. An itinerary for myself gives me an actual headache. 🥲.

It has such a relaxing atmosphere that makes me feel I’m dining in Europe for a night. Absolutely love it here! 😌

The happy hour is amazing ( Mon-Sun 4-6pm) , Ladies night is on Thursday & definitely get the Ravioli Di Aragosta!

You never know what awaits you when you take a risk and take that trip. Traveling has given me some life long connections and that’s part of the reason I want to move to another country now. lol Book that flight! Don’t be afraid. ☺️

✨ Living in Arkansas for a year was a blessing low key…it really taught me to enjoy everything the natural state has to offer.

I lived in Little Rock, Arkansas (the capital) and I honestly can say for such a fast moving east coaster who knew nothing about the state (except The Little Rock Nine & Bill Clinton ), I most certainly enjoyed the serenity of this state’s nature.

It’s also where Amber Sandiego, my blog, was created. What I thought was a little escape from an ending relationship ended up really being a huge blessing as I continued my passion for travel & good cuisine. 😌

📌Did you know The Junction Bridge rests on top of ”the Little Rock” and was used as territorial passing for Native Americans & settlers? They had been there thousands of years before Europeans due to available archeological evidence right here in this very city. Also, The Arkansas River was used by early river#solofemaletraveler traffic as a landmark and became a famous river crossing of that era in the 1880s. The history in that state is intriguing and insane.

✨ I enjoye living downtown around everything because I’m still a city girl, but I definitely can say I miss random walks to the bridges, markets, museums & libraries around town. I also miss the friends I’ve made along the way. Will definitely post more food content there soon because baby that state can eat! Time to make my return trip!

Took a 48 hour trip to Tampa via Amtrak to see one of my best friends from college & help with her move and we always have a cute little time.

My Jalapeño Cucumber Margarita from Vudu Tacos & Fish and Chips from Maloney’s Irish pub were yummy. 🩷
