Two years ago I was diagnosed with Lyme disease. I had moved to LA to pursue dance, and that changed quickly. At one time I couldn’t walk, couldn’t hold a pen, couldn’t hold my book up. It was terrifying to feel my body deteriorating and not know what was going on. It tested me physically, emotionally, spiritually and intellectually. It also made me who I am today; it made me stronger and find my purpose. When your physicality is no longer a guarantee you find something within yourself you didn’t know had.

This past month I’ve been steeped in history and I’ve seen it with my own eyes this past week, I think we have a lot to learn from the past not to make the same mistakes, but the present is where we really are and our time is such a precious good, may the Lord help us to use it wisely. A new month and a new season with new hopes are before us, what a glorious thought to see that the mercies of God are renewed every day. Looking forward with expectation to what this next season will bring.
