"Nothing much, just finishing up some paperwork for a new partnership," she sighed, "Everything seems to be in order, but I just wanted to look it over a little more before sending it back with an invitation." She arched her back, which resulted in a few cracks as her spine popped. How long had she been sitting?

Nathalia was standing in the throne room with her bags next to her. She hadn’t changed much in the few months she had been gone, except her hair was much shorter now and left side of her head had been shaved. The naga grabs Talnah by the waist when she runs over before picking her up and twirling her a bit. She then pulls her into a tight hug.  “Talnah! I’ve missed you too, hun..” Nathalia replies, kissing her forehead gently. 

“I missed you too, hun... More than words can say..” She says. Nathalia chuckles at her wife’s reaction to her hair, grinning. “Do you like it? It was getting too long so I needed to cut it.” Nathalia explains as she sets her wife down before kissing her forehead. However, she turns and looks around. “Where are the kids?” She asks, her hands still on her wife’s hips.

Nathalia goes over to her wife, a concerned look on her face. She never see’s Talnah this frustrated and angry before... It was worrying. Nathalia puts a hand on her back and rubs reassuring circles in her back to help her calm down.  “Is everything alright, hun? What’s got you so worked up?”

Nathalia frowns before pulling her into a tight hug. She didn’t like seeing her wife stressed out like this..... The naga places a kiss on the top of her head, eventually breaking the silence.  “...Is there anything I can do to make you feel better; can I get you anything?” Nathalia asks.

Talnah nuzzled into Nathalia and sighed, "It's fine. Really it is. Would you like to have some tea with me? Maybe lavender or chamomile? Just something calming." Whatever they did, Talnah knew she just needed to keep her eyes off things.

Nathalia vaguely remembers Pink talking about how gem’s are made of light, and that did didn’t have “real bodies”. Nat shrugs off the thought, deciding not to go down that rabbit hole of a thought.
