I've been as happy as I could ever be I'm no longer afraid of the end I've lost the one that completed me

the first wave is the biggest. the longest. there's no end in sight then a small shift in the wave of sadness. maybe it won't last forever. why was she taken from me. the wave continues. will it crest. I'd do anything to have her back. the wave crashes hard upon the rocks of life, of what happened. it can't be changed. there's no going back. a small, brief smile as a happy memory seeps in. off the rocks again, swept into the whirlpool of sadness of questioning why her. why us. higher and higher the wave rises. down it crashes again. I miss you so much. I love you so much. why have you gone from me. swept up again, not quite as high. an occasional smile replaces the constant tears. happy memories etched forever. love.
