         Once the flower returned the root back, Frisk felt a little relieved to see it wasn’t as bad…but still enough to try to bring it the way it was with a little extra care. Too bad, they could have grown to be such beautiful flowers quicker than expected. They reached down to gently pat the dirt more flat and packed in to prevent the stems from leaning over. With a hope and a prayer they should be fine. Maybe. 

      The child made a little shrug before sitting down near Flowey, noticing a petal of theirs had fallen down. A small look of concern as they picked it up and gestured the petal to Flowery, making deep breaths as a way of urging it to calm down. They’re not acting like a baby, but someone’s already being a little fussy right now.

       The  flower  watches  them  doddle  over.  The  little  human  is  either  sure  of  their  steps...so  sure  that  they’d  walk  off  A  CLIFF  without  hesitation...  or  clumsy.  THERE  IS  NO  IN  BETWEEN.  Right  now,  Frisk  is  managing  to  do  both.  Somehow.  

Flowey  looks  at  the  fallen  petal,  unperturbed  despite  their  insistence.  “That’ll  grow  back  too.”  He  says,  as  if  that  ended  the  conversation, purposefully  glancing  away.  “Flowers  lose  petals.  It’s  NORMAL,  okay?  I’m  not  dying...”
