Bjorn was just hoping it wasn’t one of the friends who would call him out on not recognising him that he was talking with, and he nodded his head as she spoke. Someoen who wasn’t too interested in staying inside of a party like that? He could see why. “I get that. I hear the better option is to drink though, but as the designated driver of my friends today… I must stay sober.” He told her with a nod of his head. “At least there should be room to sit down when feet are killing you though. Or rooms to book. I’ve heard some of the suites are still available.”

She still couldn’t place the voice right now so she decided to give up on that thought process for now. “The drinking option would be good but unfortunately it’s also not an option for me. Although I applaud you for at least working out a designated driver,” Alys commented with a smile. They could use a taxi sure but she knew that some people around her just didn’t like that option for some reason. “Mhmm a seating area would be nice. But as far as I’m aware yes some of the suites are available still which I guess is an option at least.”

Bjorn had let Odette disappear to do her own thing for a while, which he suspected would involve a lot of alcohol, maybe flirting with some unexpected guy, and maybe with him getting a call to tell him he didn’t have to bring her home after all. Not that he would mind that. If she was happy, he was happy. What he didn’t expect as he was sipping his whiskey, was for someone else to come next to him. A slight shrug, he didn’t truly know how to answer her question. “well, I guess it is fine enough. It’s just what it is. A bit too many people for my own personal taste, but I guess that is how it ends up when it is one of the biggest events of the year.” He answered simply. “How about yourself? Having fun, or more tempted to walk out the doors and jump in the pool?”

When the man spoke, Alys found herself recognising the voice but she could quite place who he was. She probably knew him from one of her father’s many events since that was how she met most people. Still she’d stay quiet about it for now since the last thing she wanted to do was accuse him of being a different person. As he answered her, a certain feeling of agreement washed over her. “I guess you could say I’m definitely tempted,” Alys answered softly after a pause. “However I am very much required to be here so it’s not an option for me.”
