He was standing a few ways away, completely minding his own business. Then it happened.
You got an idea. You had a wonderful, awful idea.
With all the speed of someone committing mischief, you skid to a stop in front of him, turn around, place your hands on your chest and lean back.
Sylus doesn't even look away from whatever he was so focused on. Only flicking his palm and suddenly wisps of red and black surround you. He only at first to do as was intended of a trust fall exercise, but then again he always had been a bit of an overachiever, hadn't he?
Slowly but surely, you're lifted into the air, and soon you're screeching at him to put you down.
"SYLUS IT'S A TRUST FALL! PUT ME DOWN!"
"Don't you trust me then, sweetie?" he purred, angling you just right so that now you're looking down at him. He watches you squirm a couple more times, before he eventually brings you back down to Earth. Safe and sound in his arms. Which you smack for his antics.
He's scrambling to catch you while holding a thick stack of whatever research he was currently working on. While he's sturdy enough that you both don't fall when he catches you, he also doesn't like the way you slip even a little bit from his grasp. No, that just won't do.
"Please refrain from sending me into cardiac arrest with things like this," he scolds, helping you stand up while overlooking your form for anything amiss.
You giggle despite yourself, "The most renowned heart surgeon, getting a heart attack?"
"I'm glad you find so much amusement in this." He replies, his voice low and in a tone that suggests you were most definitely not getting away with this. Not by a long shot.
With the speed befitting only that of a skilled colonel, Caleb catches you just in time, even going the extra mile of wrapping his arms around your form and practically squeezing you to his chest.
It's comforting, the feel of his chest against your back. So much so that you find yourself leaning back even further, shutting your eyes as you hear him huff amusedly.
"I didn't know we had a new training regimen in place," he spoke through your thrilled giggles, lifting you just a bit from the ground and before he spins you.
