honestly i haven’t really fw ryan ever since that cursed ig live, and for years i was able to separate the actor from the character. it’s just today, seeing him support dangerous rhetoric about the LGBT+ community, i feel sick thinking about how when Buddie does go canon (if that’s even possible atp 🤡) he’s still gonna profit / benefit from the very same people he’s shitting on.

Is it too early to say that maybe the cast of Nashville spin-off is purposely the way it is because it’s created in order to cater to the conservative 9-1-1 fans because the network expects them to stop watching OG 9-1-1 once Buddie goes canon in S9?

there’s so many things wrong in this episode but you know what’s frying me the most?

i see so many people closing out and deciding to move on from the show. Totally valid, I wish I’m just as strong as you guys, but unfortunately for me I’m too attached to these characters to ever close out. So I’m just gonna go back to ao3 until S9 starts back up.

My actual expectations for the finale.

You know when you’re having so much fun, you’re so happy and just having the time of your life and you suddenly get this sinking feeling that something’s gonna go wrong in the near future as some sort of idk payback? is there a term for that?

Ok, i had a dream I was watching Ep.18 and in the episode, Eddie was helping Buck and Ravi out when an aftershock hit and it caused Buck to be separated from them and gets trapped in a pocket. There’s a small gap between the rubbles, enough to see Buck, so they know he’s not hurt badly for now.

On another note, the writers seriously needs to let the “Buck making things about himself” line go. Like seriously it’s tired and it doesn’t fit the character anymore. It’s so reductive of Buck’s growth and in this case isn’t even appropriate with the narrative. Like just last episode you were writing about how Buck is dismissing Maddie’s concern about him by saying ‘i go to therapy’. Buck picking up Eddie from the airport. Buck letting Ravi stay in his and Eddie’s home before the funeral so he didn’t have to prepare for it alone. Buck talking to Chim about his survivor’s guilt. And even in this episode Hen and Eddie was talking about how Buck is fussing over them with the grief test. Bro is doing everything except making things about himself.
