It's been like what, 3 years since I've posted here;

I already have a degree in Law. The one I used to pray for and wish upon the stars - literally, sitting by my window;

I did fail on my 1st take during the 2024 bar exam;

Still unemployed. But I had some part-time and freelancing jobs along the way;

Life is still hard. But I'm in a better place now. I know my goals and the plans are getting clearer;

I only pray that I will already be a lawyer by 2025 when I come back here;

May this message be full of hope and wonder as I embark on my 2025 journey;

Lastly, I'm so proud of you, self. You have endured a lot but also overcome a lot and you will still rise above all the hurdles you have right now. I know it. May God bless me.

Wow. I’m revisiting my blog entries and all I can say is WOW.

Way back 2018, I’ve been so unsure of my life. I really prayed to get away from here or be able to study Law. The latter part was what I’ve really prayed for that it hurts.. and now, I’m in my 3rd year. I just can’t believe that I will be able to actually achieve this and I regret and ashamed that I’ve been taking this for granted. Although the journey is really not that easy. If I was a wrecked way back 2018, I am 100x more messy and confused now. I still don’t know where I’m heading. I still haven’t figure how my life would turn out to be. All I want right now is to have a job and be independent naman coz Idk feel old naaaaa =((

I really have this thing with self-harming. Not to inflict harm towards myself but to feel something. I FEEL SO NUMB. Pero ang bilis niya humilom nakakainis ang instant ng pain. Good pain.

I am not satisfied

Naiiyak ako pero may report ako bukas so wag na muna self

You know what I hate the most? When people interfere with my life. I guess it’s just because I’m the youngest and the only rose amongst the thorns which means I am fed up with all the interference, manipulation, and expectation that I should be molded the same way other’s children were molded or probably the same way my brothers were molded (”matino”). They’re expecting so much for me because “I’m a girl” and I’ve hated this stigma. Unfortunately I am living in a patriarchal family, who cares about their image and not what I truly feel.

I know, they mean well. But the thing is, I know what I am doing. I know the consequences of my actions and most especially, I won’t do something that would harm me. I’m not saying that I’m taking away their rights as my family or (to my concerned relatives, friends, old souls and especially the chismosang neighbors), what I’m trying to say is, let me deal with my own shit.

I just can’t take another toxic thought as I’ve been suffering from a lot of such in law school. I’ve been crying almost everyday out of frustration. I don’t know. I just really feel like I am deprived of so much right as an individual. Where’s my freedom. I know I’m still not independent. However, I need that thin line that I see to other family who aren’t event religious but at least respect their child’s decisions of whatever.

Idk. I just really feel confined in hell. I want to get out. Help me God to survive this school. So I could get a hold of my life. For me, it’s better to miss your family because they’re away from you and realize things rather than being with them everyday that you lose your respect and fail to realize that they mean well. Basta ayun hindi naman ako masamang anak. Sakal na sakal na talaga ako, to the point na ang cringey na.

Lord, I’m losing my drive. What should I do?

It’s easier to give up on this path pero I’ll just go with the flow. I just needed more strength to carry on. Nakakapagod na everyday for 4 years ganito ang buhay ko. It’s tiring.
