offer to help elders in any way you can. if they need someone to go grocery shopping for them or run errands for them because they’re afraid, help them.

the same goes for chronically ill or disabled people.

wash your frickin hands. stop going to huge events or parties for just a hot minute. i don’t care if you think you’re safe. this isn’t about you. it’s about who you could pass the virus on to. think about other people before you take risks.

chinese restaurants are struggling right now. buy food from them. nobody is hesitating to buy pizza (italian food), so why hesitate to buy chinese food?

stop saying “it’s being blown out of proportion” because “the virus only affects the elderly and disabled”. that implies that their lives are less valuable than yours. don’t be stupid.

if you have extra time on your hands, maybe offer to watch your neighbor’s kids. i know many lower-income districts are shutting down, leaving parents unable to go to their hourly-paid work. help them out.
