”..these two tried to put me to bed…”

He chuckled and shook his head. “Though I’m going to get yelled at for this one I don’t really care, they shouldn’t have kept me out so long.”

"I don’t wanna go to bed daddy im not sleepy…"he insisted. He waited so long for his father to come home to play with him.

"Want to or not you need to, it's far too late for either of us to be up. I will be more than likely here when you wake anyhow, I don't get mission often you know." He mused, starting on his walk back downstairs.

”..these two tried to put me to bed…”

He chuckled and shook his head. "Though I'm going to get yelled at for this one I don't really care, they shouldn't have kept me out so long."

"I would think it’s a little early for such a thing, wouldn’t you?"

"Outside at this time? It would be nice to be outside, it’s a nice night so I see no issues with that." Even with her demeanor she was still young and child like so it wasn’t so odd to hear such a request, though to be honest it had been a while since he had dealt with a girl. Not quite the same as a boy. “If that is what you wish to do then you are free to do it though I will obviously be coming along, that is part of my duty after all.” he held his hand out to the door, planing on following. “Just let me get the doors so you don’t drop anything.”

It wasn’t long before she was walking with a bit of haste in her steps. Torn in two directions: Wanting to play, and wanting to do nothing to besmirch the family name. A child wanting to play is hardly a sin, but still she restrains herself. "Let’s go this way."

Alucard nodded his head. "As you wish master~" Though he would normally be a pain in the ass it was still a bit early even for him, he could do so later. For now the pace wasn't lost on him and it drew him to smirk at the little blonde. "Eager to be out it would seem, one would think you wanted to all night."

"I would think it’s a little early for such a thing, wouldn’t you?"

"The window? Very well then, nice choice." He leaned down and handed over the drink, letting it go before stepping aside to let her go take her seat. "Master, there is going to be extra time after there. What do you wish to do?"

A moment passed before she said, "I wonder, perhaps, if you might want to go outside instead of staying by the window?" Fresh air, trees.. is there a swing hanging from any of the trees? She took the opportunity to eat one of the cookies and sip milk afterward before she said, "I think the air outside might be refreshing." Indeed, she found the most grown-up way she could think of, to re-word: Let’s play outside!

Once the cookies are handed over she says, "I could find a clock for you." Might be an easier quest than cookie-hunting. When he mentioned the milk, she replied, "Yes, and I will put the chair back." She drags the chair, trying to get it back to its original place. The task is more difficult when holding cookies, but she manages to not drop any of those cookies.

With glass in hand he went to get the milk as well, pouring a glass as he watched her push the chair back. “Beside, all I need to know is if it’s day or night and I do that on my own. Just saying I don’t know the exact hour.” Putting things back where they came from he walked over, holding the glass. “Where do you want to have your snack?”

Her head stayed still, but her gaze moved as she thought a moment before answering, "By the window?" Her thoughts immediately said, 'I want to play outside..' but she didn’t express them out loud. Instead she started to reach for the glass of milk, "Thank you."

"The window? Very well then, nice choice." He leaned down and handed over the drink, letting it go before stepping aside to let her go take her seat. "Master, there is going to be extra time after there. What do you wish to do?"

"I would think it’s a little early for such a thing, wouldn’t you?"

"You are forgetting that your early is very nearly, my late." She reached up a hand, "It’s time for cookies and milk. I already had dinner." Fingers stretch toward the cookies, trying to take hold. When that proves to be difficult, she turns her hand, palm up, "Four cookies." A beat, "Please." She made the request a statement, but tried to keep it polite.

"You may have a point about that, Guess I just keep getting switched around, I normally don’t have to deal with it." A small yawn escaped him, he didn’t need it but it came as a habit. "Hmm It’s already after dinner? There are no clocks down there so I didn’t know." He kept the box up out of reach easily, popping open the package and pulled out said for cookies for his small master. He waited until the please before he handed them over. "Very good, I will get the milk?"
