My Thoughts And Processes

I have a preliminary date for my knee operation, the 28th of March.

I will have to call 2 weeks before to confirm, and it could still get cancelled.

This is great timing, I have my first assignment due, the inlaws are moving in soon and my Aunty wants me to supervise the building of a garage for them... :)

Welcome all.

At the moment i am looking at getting into Dungeons and Dragons.... and not the computer game, though there is the ability to play it facilitated through the computer thanks to sites such as Roll20.  Though being a new starter, I am still watching youtube etc to understand the interactions and behaviours involved.

Trying to find a local group though is proving to be a challenge.  the nearest I can find is at the store in either Parramatta or Liverpool, which are both not very close, but far enough away to incur extra fuel costs.

The purpose of this blog is primarily selfish, to encourage me to be more thoughtful in the words I use when describing what ever menial task or activity that I am currently documenting.

A little snippet about myself, I am an 40 something middle aged white male, living in Australia the Sydney. Working as a shift co-ordinator for a company that I have been with now burgeoning on 22 years, married and I have a nearly 20 year old son.

This blog, the likes and follows are all me, even if it does seem a bit muddled up, I can assure you that it is me. After all, my name is derived from a character written by David and Leigh Eddings., the redemption of Althalus.

Currently going through a minimalist exploration, it is hard to cull 20 years worth of stuff when we are encouraged to buy more all the time.
