Ben was silent for a few seconds, mostly taken away by seeing here again, but he also wasn’t sure if he was the one she was trying to talk to. “Alice,” Benjamin said, her name rolling off his tongue easily despite them having not talked in a while, and him having not said her name in many years. “It’s good to see you,” 

“Why wouldn’t it? I have a very trustworthy face.” 

“She tells everyone the same thing I’m afraid.”

“I knew it. She’s been sneaking around our back.” 

“I do, you’re simply not funny.”

“That’s rude- here I was thinking I was funny, and you come here and say that.” 

“My absolute favourite.” 

“You have no sense of humour, brother.” 

“I truly can’t wait for the moment when she kicks your ass.”

“I doubt she ever will, she loves me too much.” 

“Do you not believe me? I’m offended, Harps, I might even go cry.” 

“I don’t think you know my faces as well as you think, this is clearly my truth face,” 

“I’m sure you have Phee wrapped around your little finger anyway.”

“’Course she is. I don’t bribe her for nothing.” 

“Apparently I just have that sort of face, it makes no one believe me.”

“And I’m just trying to have some fun, but we can’t all get what we want” Ben said, shrugging as he threw some food once again. 

“I don’t know, am I? I think I’d like to see you carry out that threat. How much would it take?” 

“It wasn’t me, I swear. Perhaps you need to get your eyes checked, Perhaps they simply looked like me. It’s a common mistake.” 

“I’m glad you do, it would be very awkward if my favourite didn’t like her nickname.” 

“Always. Thank you, I’m glad someone finally believes me. It’s been a tough battle trying to convince everyone.” 

“You’ve been warned.”

“Ooh, I’m so frightened. You could take over Hades’s job, honestly. You’re that scary.”
