In this project I used a toaster to do the art for me here. I used acrylic and ink.

The project that I was enjoying too was this, because we had to doodle whatever we liked on any media with any medium. I cared a lot here on the details.

This was one of the projects that I enjoyed a lot. At the beginning we had a calligrapher to write for us a phrase that is commonly used in our houses, mine was “I want money”. This project taught me to drawing in life looking at the actual ribbon not from a picture. We used charcoal for this project.

“What is the picture that’d you take with you if your house is on fire?” the professor asked. I had to think all day until I saw a picture in the house that is very personal to me and love so much. We had to wrap these frames with paper and draw it. 

The project is about making an outfit inspired from a site. I chose my grandfather’s house with the wedding lights. The idea of my outfit is a feminine bisht with lights attached to it inspired by wedding lights.

In this collaborative project we to write a paragraph within 2-3 minutes on describing how the place we chose is home to us, and then sharing what I wrote with my classmates to take phrases out of the paragraph. It’s almost the same as blind contour we did for drawing. 

A collaborative project between drawing studio and surface. We had to choose a place that we feel like home to us and draw a gestural drawing. I personally chose my car because it’s the place I feel most comfortably myself.

My final skateboard design, my idea of it was that my family were known for being goldsmiths and collecting pearls in making jewellery. I was inspired by the old Qatari traditions on how to make a living through pearl diving.
