Alphyne Zine

It has been a long time since you have last heard from the team. This is due to a wide bevy of stresses affecting our team due to both personal and political issues causing great difficulties for us this year. We are incredibly sorry for the delay in getting this message to you all.

We would like to inform you that the production of this zine is going on hiatus. This is partially because we have found little time to curate and finalize the zine due to the great aforementioned stresses  and partially because this is, for many on our team, our first ever zine creation project. 

On this note, we would like to commend the absolutely incredible work you all produced for this zine. You showcased such beautiful and powerful dedications to this fictional couple we all want to celebrate. Thank you for the astounding effort you put into your work, all of you. You are all amazing people who deserve so much as artists. 

If you would like, you are free to post your works to whichever social media sites you choose. 

If, however, in future, we find more time- we will pick up this project again to finish it. We will let you know here when that occurs.

Once again, we greatly apologize for this less than exciting news.

The alphynezine team has noticed that many artists are having trouble meeting the October deadline due to interference with school or work! Therefore we have decided to extend the zine deadline to November 6th, so everyone can finish their work in time.

It was exceptionally difficult to choose from the diverse talents we had the luck to see apply to our zine... but in the end we only had 50 spots to divide among them. The selected artists are under the cut! 

Plus... a special surprise.

Thank you all for submitting. We are now judging the submissions and will be back with a full list of participants in a few days- plus... an interesting addition.

There is going to be an extension to the submission period for the Alphyne Zine!

The date for end of submission has been extended to the 8th of April, because two of the mods are going to be on holiday and may not be able to easily access tumblr to make decisions about selections during this time.

Therefore, use this extension to prep up your art tag/portfolio items and finish up any good pieces that you want us to check out!

If you’re nodding furiously at the above question, and happen to be into Undertale, check out Alphyne Zine- an art anthology celebrating the cutest canon ship!

This project will be looking for 50 artists (this may change depending on interest!) and will be using their work to create a free digital zine for everyone to download and enjoy once it is finished!
