“I’m a little offended by you thinking I can only get someone if it’s dark,” he replied. “What I love about America is the second they hear a british accent, you’re suddenly the most interesting person in the room. They dig that shit.” 

“Honest to goodness my gram is living a way better life than I ever could. I just picked her up from the hospital, do you know why? Because she broke a rib having a romp with her married boyfriend. I can only dream of being that cool at sixty-seven.”

“Sounds like your gram is living some kinda life alright”

“Hmm,” Giselle contemplated. Although she obviously wanted to go, she didn’t want to make it so easy for Blake. Her brow raised at his following sentence but it fell after the topic of her facial expression returned. She rolled her eyes as she desperately fought off the smile poking through her stone cold face. She watched as he began to walk off and couldn’t help but admire the fact that she found someone who kept her on her toes for once and that someone was Blake. With a flick of her hair, she strutted towards Blake, passing him for a moment as she spoke, “It’s your treat,” she decided about lunch before walking, making sure the sight of her was an enjoyable one to watch.

Blake knew he’d won the fight the minute she lifted her hands up to stop him from kissing her shaking his head the smile still on his face. He watcher her as she passed on by him taking all of her in he’d almost forgotten anyone else that filled those halls. It wasn’t hard for him at this point in their lives he was very aware of the head they turned together due to their looks. People watching them wasn’t something knew to him wether the power couple of their high school or the young up and coming elites of their parents country club. “Figured” he followed behind not missing a beat as they walked over to his car “one more thing” He said taking her by her waist and pulling her back to him. Blake turned her to look at him taking her chin in his hands softly looking into her eyes the smirk on his face and he leaned forward stealing his kiss from her lips. “Now you can walk away” He released her taking the keys from his pocket and hitting the button the sound of the car a few feet away from them. 

Seeing Blake’s charming smile caused Giselle’s heart to skip a beat, despite the fact that she was a bit cross at him at the moment. She kept the scowl on her face as she listened to Blake’s sacrifice to be with her today. She had fallen head over heels with Blake in an instant and the feeling hadn’t ceased. As Blake leaned in, Giselle held up a finger between him, silently telling him to stop coming closer to her, despite the fact that there was nothing she wanted more than that. “For your information,” Giselle began with a sharp tone in her voice. “My face is fine,” she let her hand fall to her side. “Second,” she continued, scanning over the features of her boyfriend’s face. “You’d deserve a little more love if you responded to my messages last night.” The redhead folded her arms and stared quizzically up at her boyfriend.

Blake stopped short of her hand his eyes rolling at what he should have already anticipated from his lack of response the past few nights. School and his father had been running him so ragged Giselle had taken a back seat to everything. He sighed shrugging his shoulders “So you don’t want to get lunch at for your favorite spot then” he turned around “Thats fine maybe now I’ll actually get to try a macaron” Blake could help but smirk knowing her all to well. “We could debate about the current face you’re making” he looked over at her as he started to make his way to the door “But it’s defiantly hot” he winked back at her. As expected he received her first comment on his absence not feeling like arguing he merely turned his head walking for the door. 

“What do you think? Granted, it looks a bit horrific, the scratches on my face… but I hear people find that stuff attractive. I could try my luck tonight at a club, maybe someone might dig these battle scars… They wouldn’t need to know Yoda scratched me while I was trying to give him a bath.”

“Yeah know if your not carful they might take those as a sign of someone being a little unfaithful”

The lecture never seemed to end, but luckily for Giselle, before it got too much, her professor finally dismissed the class. The redhead laughed along to something one of her friends said as they stood in the hallway outside of the room. Her perfectly manicured hands clutched onto her binder as her heels began to wear her feet down. With the flip of her cherry hair she noticed someone staring at her. Her white teeth were hidden as her red lips fell into a scowl. “Yes?” Giselle hissed after a moment of silence.

Blake grinned at the girl knowing she’d never suspect his surprise visit one of their busy days. He did love to make her smile but the scowl she gave him sent shivers down his spine as he raise his hands in defense. “You’d think I’d get a little more love then that for bail on golf with dad today” He said making his way over to her now. She was the image of perfection and Blake some how wondered where the flaws truly began “You know people like to see a friendly face in the medical field” He placed his hands on her waist and lead in to kiss her.
